Our podcast series continues, this month’s story is told by Adhémar. 

Having grown up in the French countryside, Clément is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works.
With a particular rigor for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJ set, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all. Today’s experience is a voyage into Adhémar’s world, a world where music talks.

Dycide is a Deep-Techno and Drum and Bass producer/DJ based in Munich, Germany. He produces electronic music, which is best described as intricate rhythms combining various percussive textures while keeping a subtle atmosphere. This creates a very minimalistic sound without losing the importance of storytelling. While his other passion, the art of programming, lets him experiment with generative art, both in visual and auditory work. In 2018 Dycide co-founded the audiovisual label IO together with his close friends MTRL & Polygonia. The label already counts many successful releases and has gained a deep following over the years.

One of the founding three of IO Records, MTRL's set is filled with the lingering heat of an Indian summer, and punched by the vivacity of autumn's colder nights. Born in Argentina, but living most of her life in the Canary Islands, and currently residing in the city of Barcelona, Imox entered the world of mixing during her adolescence, teaching herself, experimenting with different genres until she found her sound marked by a high mental, organic and enveloping content.
Imox is a Mayan Nahuatl, it represents the divinity or essence of the universe, the very root from which all life arises and to which it returns when it dies; and this is how her sessions unfold, an organic evolution like the very process of life. Her sound transports us to the atmospheres and natural landscapes of the island of her childhood, accompanied by hypnotic grooves, tribal elements and cosmic textures, a progressive journey through unknown dimensions with overwhelming intensity.
Imox is member of Barcelona based collective SubRadio.
Since she started to play as Imox, she has been showing her finesse in the mix and her great music selection in the main clubs of the city such as Razzmatazz, Apolo, Moog, LAUT or Red58, and this 2023 she will play at Mostra Festival.

Based in Mexico, the producer/Dj behind the label Secuencias Temporales delivers both beautifully curated discoveries thru his imprint, as well as himself refining his mixing with casket-treasured findings, for our ears delight. Jorge Eafhm gives here a lesson of elegance when it comes down to mixing melodies in the best sense of the word, blending them in a flowery, slightly nostalgic and deep, soulful tale. Can say without much doubt: probably one of the best and most atmospheric submissions we received so far. Infinitely thankful for this beautiful, chiseled work and the obvious passion put in it.

4hrs of mixes again? Is that the new standard for 2023? We're super excited to welcome Catalan artist ABSIS on Crescent with one unique kind of journey.
 
ABSIS is Salva Coromina, a regular DJ on the Barcelona scene since the late 90s under the alias of mouseDown/MouseUp, was a resident DJ at The Loft and a regular at Sonar for many years. He has always been exploring the deeper face of electronic music moving from ambient to techno. We can find some of his productions on the Hivern Discs label.

He is an artist based in Stuttgart. Driven by his passion for music, who has evolved in the hypnotic ambient techno scene. 
His deep, organic and atmospherical sound identity was inspired by the classic genres and nature ambience and textures. As a huge supporter of the local culture scene, he also engages in different kinds of artistic creations and especially the connections between the different Arts.
Together with Laima Adelaide and Tama he is part of the Stuttgart based label Predawn Records.

Solid mix & blends, trippy atmospheres and a really cohesive story-telling are to be expected from this clean mix.
