The 7th release on Juicebox Music, we head over to the mediterranean shores of Greece to pick up the much awaited single "Depth Of Emotion" from Harris Sgourdas aka 'Blusoul'. With a knack for creating memorable melodies and intense grooves, Blusoul's productions have been a firm favorite for many key industry players over the past few years. With "Depth of Emotion", Blusoul gets straight to business with thumping grooves, droning basslines, heavy chord stabs & a catchy little vocal riff that sets things into motion. Enter the euphoric plucked arps, acidic lines with a progression that lures you in and you've got a winning combination. 

Stepping up to bat first for a remix are the Serbian DJ/Production duo - Progress Inn, aka Janko Dragovic & Igor Kadic. Known for their signature energetic sound that landed them releases on Vapour Recordings, Temporum and Lowbit, the Belgrade boys firmly stamp their sonic imprint with finesse. Heavy grooves and a nod to the original's elements with clever edits sends the track into the next level. 

The second remix for this release comes from Israel's "Lonya". Being the resident for the renowned The Cat & The Dog club as well as the leading force behind Asymmetric Records gives him ultimate bragging rights. Appearing on labels like Sudbeat, Parquet, Flow Vinyl and even Defected, are a testament to Lonya's quality. He delivers a groovier interpretation with hypnotic soundscapes & buzzing drones, aimed straight for the darker rooms.

Nick Devon is back with this mesmerizing four piece EP 'Limbo'. This new collection of tracks departs from a slightly more dance floor aesthetic into a curious dissection of movement through time.
 
The first taste of Nick Devon's most recent musical direction "Limbo" is a lucid and purposeful assertion of Devon's creative abilities in a sensitive yet powerful way. The slight dissonance and play with dark and light in this piece paints a picture of an intense journey through the deepest layers of the ocean. 
 
The second track "Landscapes" brings on a more colourful and mysterious exploration of outer space. The entirety of this track provides an other-worldly vantage point to human existence. From the driving rhythms to the echo of electronic synths and the somewhat eerie and ethereal addition of the human voice, throughout this song Devon creates an augmented and elevated perception of reality. 
 
"Symbiose" feels like an extension of the ethereal energy of "Landscapes" with an added infusion of enthusiasm and elation. The airy melodies which play atop the driving bassline in this track depart from a more dissonant soundscape towards the beginning from "Limbo" and "Landscapes". 
 
The final track "Overflow" is the epic and anthemic end to a soft and soul-searching collection of songs. The tinkering riffs and deep growling basslines balance each other throughout the gentle builds of this suspenseful piece. 
 
The gently absurdist contradictions in this reflective collection are reminiscent of surrealist paintings which take you on a journey through your own mind. A wide span of emotions and colour, Limbo shows a dynamic and versatile sensibility from Nick Devon as a unique electronic artist.

Marseille based producer, DJ and live artist Elska has emerged as a rising talent within France’s electronic scene over the past twelve months having released his debut release on SINNERS back in April, with further material since arriving via the likes of Somatic Records, Awen Tales and more. Fresh from his latest EP, October signals a return to SINNERS as he delivers his latest EP entitled ‘Elegance’ – with the EP set to be released at midnight during the label’s ADE event at WesterUnie. 
 Lead cut ‘Elegance’ opens the package as deep, rich melodies meet restrained drum shots and bright synths, whilst ‘Neutron’ welcomes brooding basslines and blossoming lead lines amongst deeper, darker moments throughout.

BIO:
Progress Inn is the DJ/production duo consisting of Janko Dragovic and Igor Kadic. Both guys, originally from former Yugoslavia, after many years of living in Perth, Australia, are now back in Serbia. As Progress Inn, they make and play a variety of music, but their main sound is a blend of progressive, house and techno with the main ethos that it has to be groovy and it has to be deep.

They started DJ-ing together and releasing their music in 2008. In 2009 they embarked on their first European tour. They delivered their trademark energetic sound around Europe, appearing at gigs in Spain, Slovakia and Serbia. They played to crowds who fell in love with their music as much as people from Perth! In 2010 they established themselves firmly as one of Perth’s favourite acts culminating in the appearance at Stereosonic Festival, which was followed by their appearance at Future Music Festival and Creamfields in 2011 and 2012.

Ranking number 1 in the Perth Dance Music Awards in the Best Progressive DJ category in 2010 and 2011, Progress Inn gigs have been hailed by many as exceptional. In their sets Igor and Janko seamlessly weave their broad musical influences through energetic and groovy music that always has the dance floor burning. By utilising two laptops and MIDI controllers, they manage to create a rich sound and emotive atmosphere that is quite unique. They have supported numerous world class acts such as Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Timo Maas, James Zabiela, Lee Burridge, Guy J, Robert Babicz, Radio Slave, Xhin, Satoshi Tommiie, 16 Bit Lolitas, James Holden, Stephan Bodzin, Yousef, Kasey Taylor and Jamie Stevens to name a few. 

Their productions have been getting a lot of attention as well getting played by many big names in the industry like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc, Anthony Pappa, Kasey Taylor, Marcelo Vasami etc. To date they have had releases on some fantastic labels like Vapour, Sound Avenue, Lowbit, Temporum, Suffused and many more. They also run their own label, Obstacles Recordings, which they use to promote all sorts of quality music.

Expect to hear the name Progress Inn a lot more in 2014 as they take on Europe and the rest of the world!
