The eighth disc in Indigo area’s ÆX series is another excellent showcase of diverse techno flavours combined in one disc. Familiar faces to the series Bas Amro, Tetelepta and Taupe return with their very own signature techno sound, from minimal stripped down hypnotizations to the deeper and warm dub grooves. Label curators Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff, who recently launched their new Indigo aera production alias, jump in with a true ‘90 inspired floor track where the new mysterious Anton Biotica completes the package with a tribally fun and playful tool.

BIO:
A promoter of the underground culture, a DJ and a respected producer - Serbian-born Lag is the on the forefront of the new wave of techno artists.

Growing up in the turbulent Balkans, he developed a unique outlook on expression, choosing electronic music to be the channel for his creative discharge. While the acquired punk influences and classical music education shines through his steady output, he doesn't shy away from exploring beyond what he is most known for - gritty, rhythmical techno with attention-grabbing attitude. While Lag's releases on MORD, THEM and Elements have put him on the map, his remix work and odd tracks released on various labels show diversity in what he is capable of.

Lag’s many DJ performances speak volumes of his ability to sonically engage his crowd, taking them on an intense journey: expertly curated and skillfully carried out. Through his DJ sets, as well as his other work promoting the underground culture (whether it's through writing, organizing workshops or running club nights) Lag puts efforts into closing the gap between the “good” and the “known”. His undeniable quality and hard work quickly took him from playing local clubs to touring the world, making him Serbia's techno ambassador and allowing him to spread the message which someone who lived through war and discord can best understand - a message of inclusiveness and unity.

Lag is set to stay on his current path as his mission, his initial vision, is yet to flicker. His ruthless determination is awe-inspiring, and is, along with his musical prowess, the main reason for his rising popularity. Lag is definitely someone to keep an eye on, but more importantly - someone to listen to.

Morah -  Blossoms Within Garden Of Life! [Reissues 2019]

Dancing since his childhood, music started to be part of his life by composing the soundscapes for his performances. Moving to Berlin in 2012 awakened the desire to DJ.
Since then, he has organized many Berlin parties such as MAKUMBA, VENGANZA and REIF,and has played in such clubs as Wilde Renate, Suicide Circus, Tresor, IPSE, to quote just a few. He is currently a booker at the club Diskothek Melancholie II.

This past August Onio was part of an incredible project happening online: the Eco Electro Queer Garden Party 2020 squatted a well-functioning and clearly-structured digital platform destined to be used by the sex cam industry.
Onio’s mix is a melting pot of influences: with an opening piece coming from one of the most famous japanese anime of all times, going on with an elegant selection of trance and techno tracks, closing up with the desire to hear more and dance more.

The portuguese scene in Berlin seems to be the most lively at this time, and the selection of music and atmospheres of neon bright lights and post-after rave inspired sounds are Onio’s mix backbones.

The rooms are echoing with hi-hats and eclectic pieces stuck together: as perfect glue only Onio’s vision and passion for sounds and music research and the willingness to make you lose yourself in the freedom of dance.

@lukr-range is a Berlin-based DJ and producer. She grew up and developed in the Berlin nightlife scene and started to perform as a DJ in clubs such as :// about blank, Arena and Suicide Circus in 2017, dominating the floors with raw and aggressive techno beats. Her sets are always energetic and characterised by fast drums, punching kicks, metallic snares and jumping bass lines, creating a fluent, dark, hypnotic and deep journey through music. Besides DJ-ing she is also known for the work with @sonderberlin colective, her very own productions and the residency at the @eclectiqueberlin events. The mix that Lukr Range has recorded for us is way different than her usual style so check it out!
