Just Glassin'

This song was originally called "Masterpiece". I decided to call it "Divine Be Truth" since I say that phrase like five times during the duration of the composition. 

Still wish I had a clearer way of capturing my amp's distortion. It will do. 

Intro lasts about a minute or so and then the real song begins. 

This song is meant to depict that, after all the pain and all the gain, the one constant that remains is truth. In this life, this reality, this universe, you can lie. You can deceive. But no amount of lying nor deception can CHANGE literal physical reality and what happened. Outside of super-physics, time only flows in one direction for us. That means each action, each moment, is a completely unique one, since all moments are directly being followed by other new moments. As a consequence, there is no way to return to a former time and alter its properties; what has happened, has happened, and it can only happen that way once.

So if there is anything that is divine in this universe, anything that spans the totality of existence and a property which has been inherent since the first moments and will be inherent until the last ones, (IF there was even a first and last moment), then it is the property of truth. There is nothing like good ol' truth, for it describes what is real. At the end of the day, there is only one real truth about reality; there is what simply IS. 

Take the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centers. When you consider every piece of evidence, every event, every thought that pertained to that massive event, who knows what the real, full, whole truth of the story is? Nobody on this planet has ALL of the data about it. But whether we know about it or not, there IS a real truth about the matter. If you could travel through time and read people's minds, everyone through time who had even a THOUGHT about it, what would you really find? Was it purely an unwarned attack by religious extremists? Who knew this attack was coming? And for how long? 

You see folks, there's only one "truth". Blur it, distort it, cover it up. Real truth is real truth. And it is divine.
