The Story Behind the TAILORS,

The Tailors is a producing and performing DJ duo
based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
There style is described as funky tech-house with a twist of soul.

Bastiaan & Jesse met during high school at age 15. They discovered that they both shared a passion for music and creating it. The love for different styles of music helped them find their own. 

Bastiaan was born on the 12th of July in 1989. At the age of 13 his parents bought him “Magix Music Maker” and this is when he started making songs with loops and samples. During this period he learned playing the drums and started experimenting with DJ-ing and producing. 
After finishing high school he went to the SAE in Amsterdam where he finished the Music Production Course. 

Jesse was born on the 17th of May in 1990. Jesse has always been interested in music, especially since his parents both were DJ’s in their younger years. At young age he learned mixing and had great interest in latin influenced music because of his Surinam roots.

Their fame started with funky remixes of classics from artists such as
Tracy Chapman, George Benson, The Whispers and many more.
They created their own style, which is deep, uplifting and funky.
The Tailors daily produce new original tracks for the world to enjoy.
They have performed in Paris, Cannes, Ibiza, Madrid, Monaco, India, Sao Paulo and many more places all over the world.

Dream Wisely is a British DJ / Producer with a touring history in over 50 cities worldwide. The name Devin is of Sanskrit origin, stemming from the words deva and devi meaning "a shining one" or "to shine," thus cognate with Greek dios "divine." The name has also been said to mean "poet" and is generally considered a variant of David.

Paulo Arruda is an underground DJ based in Brazil. He eclectically blends Deep House, Techno, Tech House, Acid Jazz, Jazzy House, Soulful, Indie, Nu-Disco, Soul and Funky.

DJ 2Soul
His musical career started years ago when he got the opportunity to buy a complete record shop with over 1000 records and two famous Technics SL1200 analog turntables. The beginning was a variation of different style’s, from jazz to funk and from soul to disco. Also small minimal and techno influences were present. 

Among the first records where classic house hits like Robin S’ Show me love, Stardust’s Music sounds better with you and The Nightcrawler’s Push the feeling on. In order to find his preferred style he started to spend his free hours in record shops listening to different artists and different sounds. Although the skills were low at the time, the feeling was there and the passion for house music was born…

Getting some fame among the local people, his first demo, had a big impact and the word spread that there was a new talent in town. DJ 2Soul got the opportunity to show his skills and became resident at several parties in his home town for his exclusive music and mixing style. As resident, a larger audience heard his music and his style and skills were not unnoticed.

Now years later DJ 2Soul is specialized in deep house with a funky flavor and his mixing skills reached a level that only a few musicians reach in such a short time. His genius is well booked on deep house gigs and can be admired in the well-known deep house clubs in and around Amsterdam. His funky sound and diversity in music allow him to set up a relaxed environment for lounge clubs and cocktail bars.

His exclusive style brought him to the best known clubs of Amsterdam, and the most famous beach clubs.

Music is my therapy ...It all started with being mesmerized listening to the hypnotic beat of Kraftwerk’s “Trans Euro Express” on a tiny cassette player at a very young age and it continues to this day at an age when I have to worry about “more important” things in life.
