Paral·lel Festival has curated a musical selection based largely on uniqueness, promoting differentiated and disruptive musical paradigms. DJs from the international scene will explore experimental, ambient, and techno musical aesthetics over the course of 3 days on a single stage. Each performance will organically link the previous and subsequent performance, forming a narrative that weaves through a balanced day-and-night program.

An inspiring environment, precise musical selection, and the comfort of our attendees are the three utmost central axes for our organization team. We aim to offer a novel and fulfilling experience for music lovers with our distinct and purposeful program.

Julius (PTDD) is a producer and DJ based in Utrecht, The Netherlands.  He has a background in music production and composition, studying Composition Electronic Music at the University of Arts in Utrecht (HKU). His distinctive sound can be described as psychedelic, rhythmic and melodic.

His carefully spaced compositions are distinctive and recognizable, taking inspiration from jazz, IDM, House, UK Bass & Techno.

As a DJ, his sound can be characterized as fluid: weaving together a wide range of rhythms, textures and pads and avoiding a standard 4 to the floor approach.

His sound is developing in a symbiotic relationship with his audio-engineering work and cooking projects. This cross pollination results in new sound-design techniques he incorporates in eating experiences.
