Runaround Kids are a Wakefield band consisting of George Garthwaite (guitar, vocals), Jack Winn (bass, vocals) and Rob Burnell (drums).
 
2012 saw them release an ambitious series of singles, compiling them all with 'Teeth Blue, Lips Red' in December. This series has seen them constantly touring and recording; they have completed their first Irish tour with labelmates We Are Losers, played at Dot To Dot, Long Division and Beacons festivals, and received airplay from XFM and Amazing Radio.
 
In August 2011 they released their debut album ‘Linked Arms’ to critical acclaim. Drowned In Sound praised it as “A noisy, assertive piece of work… energetic bursts all sharing infiltrating melodies and a fuzzy lo-fi aesthetic. (An) excellent debut album”, whilst Vibrations have declared them “One of The UK’s most promising acts”. The album led to them being playlisted on Amazing Radio as well as numerous plays on BBC 6Music, Radio 1 (including being named Huw Stephens’ ‘Tip Of The Week’) and XFM. 

In 2010 Runaround Kids played Leeds and Reading Festivals. In 2011 they returned to Leeds Festival on special request of Leeds label Dance To The Radio. The band are now regulars at festivals, having played at Dot To Dot, Constellations, Beacons, Long Division, Live At Leeds, Tramlines and Eurocultured, whilst also supporting artists such as Lee Ranaldo, Jeffrey Lewis, Pulled Apart By Horses, Johnny Foreigner, Dinosaur Pileup and Shrag.

Hello! We are Pull Yourself Together, an independent record label, indiepop fanzine and clubnight based in Manchester. We like to listen to pop songs, which we then write about and play in bars and stuff. People seem to like that we do this, and they come to see us and pick up our little zine every two months. Lots of people have been saying nice things about the zine recently, including Steve Lamacq, Marc Riley, Artrocker and the NME. Which is nice.
