Anden State’s ‘Into The World’ is a slowly-building trance tune that moves towards a simple piano melody that calmly leads the way into the breakdown. Instantaneously, the synth arpeggios come rushing in, surrounding the listeners as they pick up where the piano left off, easing down before regaining energy with the drop of the kicks, taking the listeners on a journey around our planet.

The monster mix is a more powerful version with a sweeping bassline that paves the way for an electronic melody, which cuts through the breakdown as it moves higher and higher. With the drop, the bassline makes a sudden return that is bound to take the listeners off their feet.

Into The World

Anden State - Into The World (Original Mix)

Ancient Mind’s ‘Dersaadet’ is a dark yet pumping tune that starts with an electrifying echoing loop rising above the rolling bass and surrounding the listeners before it’s met with an energetic melody that rapidly moves forward and into the breakdown. That’s where all the accompanying instruments slowly fade and the melody is joined by dark, haunting drums, before the string instruments come in, creating a chaotic and haunting atmosphere.

The Jasper Herbrink remix is a more electric and tension-filled version, with a bassline and pumping kicks that continuously cut off as they move forward. But eventually all the sounds build up and rise, before they rush back down in an instant, bringing out the dark and somber string-led melody, which is soon accompanied by a synth, rising and falling as it moves towards the top.

Dersaadet

Ancient Mind - Dersaadet (Original Mix)

Odison is a Serbian producer that had a couple of releases for our label and is now back with his latest single release. ‘Save Me’ is a tune that starts off easily, featuring a very minimalistic lead elements that all breath with a unique dose of musical deepness added to it. Waiting for someone to dive in and save it!

Jumping in to help us with the remix is Aiera, with his ‘Help Is Here Remix’ making original keep its original minimalistic elements but with a more dreamy side added to it. The breakdown also unveils a very beautiful piano line followed by a calming plucks that build up to a really driving progressive track perfect for your everyday enjoyment.

The Argentine star from Buenos Aires, Roberto Reynoso, better known as Estigma, debuts on Edge with a marvelous piece of music: Syriana. An uplifting banger featuring an emotional melody and acidic pumping grooves with soprano voices behind it. Officially designated as the Trance Producer Trolls anthem, this track caused a big impact and the reaction of the fans has been unbelievable.

For an amazing tune such as this, it is obligatory to have an absolutely banging clubby techy version. The duo from Canada, Dave Nadz and LeBlanc, found the perfect ingredients to combine the original idea with an outstanding piano melody; the final result connects to a magical world that we’re pretty sure you will melt right into. This is the right track to go inwards and find your inner space.

Estigma - Syriana (Original Mix) [OUT NOW!]

After five artist albums and countless releases on compilations, Penta's EP, "Numbers" comes at the beginning of the 10th year of Penta as the psy trance project. These two tracks are mathematical in nature with the first one - "Binary" bringing Nikita Tselovalnikov back to his melodic style of early years and the second one "Random Number (Live Mix)" exploring the possibility of making music on the fly, with the help of Ableton Live. That track, which maybe not as polished as other Penta's tracks, transmits a sense of spontaneity, otherwise unachievable with traditional linear methods of producing music. Both tracks are suitable for the hottest time of a party.

Cape Town, South Africa -- for some, it's one of the most remote locations on earth, practically the stuff of legends. For Nate Raubenheimer, the tip of the southernmost African country is home. Armin van Buuren has said of the man, "Everything he touches turns to musical gold." Really, there can be no stronger endorsement, nor can there be a statement more accurate. 

His is a classic tale -- inspired at the age of 8, it wasn't long before his life's journey led him to audio engineering school, and ultimately, to the largest festivals in the world. Protoculture's fans are filled with an almost feverish adoration, the kind of hard-earned reputation that only someone with genuine talent can enjoy. Success hasn't been all roses for the producer, however, as his hometown is one of the worst spots to travel from for an internationally touring DJ. 

'Music Is More Than Mathematics' is an appropriate title for this exceptional album, and there's absolutely no formula for what Protoculture does. If "awesome" could be bottled into a jar, it would be this record. Finding better descriptors is as pointless as trying to compete with his musical talents. 
Even though each record radiates the artist behind the controls, Protoculture was able to attract talented producers, songwriters, and vocalists to help realize this record. Christian Burns, Johnny Yono, Max Graham, Jennifer Rene, and Tricia McTeague are some of the multitalented collaborators that made 'Music Is More Than Mathematics' possible, and their respective contributions seem to come at the precise time they're needed in this musical journey. 

Certain albums defy conventional logic, and certain sounds are so transcendental that it's hard to see "trance" as anything but the right term. This is a special release, and one that covers as much territory as Protoculture's frequent trips around the globe.

Painstakingly curated over a year from a motley crew of genre bending masters skilled in the art of sonic wizardry, Boom Shankar and BMSS Records bring you Chapter 2 of Trancefusion.

These 11 tracks redraw the lines without losing sight of what is important to dancefloors. With honour and great pleasure, Pulsar Recordings is proud to present to you its first ever artist album, a production by no other than the phenomenal Dominik von Francois.

‘Tears Of Infinity’ is a trance album like no other, an emotional masterpiece led by a piano that plays with the listeners’ hearts as it moves along and is joined by a myriad of sounds that dance along with it.

The album starts off with ‘Peace’, a tune as tranquil as its name indicates, with a rhythmic backdrop and a bass that collapse in the breakdown to bring out the glimmering atmospheric pads, before the piano makes its debut as it holds the listeners’ hands and walks with them along a quiet and serene beach.

Rapidly, the tune changes pace, building up with a thick synth. But it’s soon joined by a breezy flute melody that slowly and steadily brings the track back down, and the album seamlessly moves towards ‘Panorama’, where the beautiful piano melody leads the way throughout the track as it teases the listeners before it moves forward in the breakdown.

And this is just the beginning, as ‘Tears Of Infinity’ slowly builds up with ‘Strogressive’, ‘Elemental’, ‘More Than Binary’, ‘Symbiosis’, and ‘Memoria’ - all stunning heart-felt and pumping tunes that could easily stand on their own.

Easing the mood after the emotional trip, ‘Whimsical Winds’ comes along, with its light-hearted loop that dances with the listeners. But it’s not long before the tune comes rushing down, and von Francois’s warm and touching signature sound returns, this time featuring a guitar harmonizing with the melody and leading its way towards ‘Wortox’, where it backs out and lets the piano once again ring and echo in solitude.

Ending the beautiful journey with a tune befitting a grand finale, the album reaches ‘Visions’, a chill tune where the piano melody moves along calmly as it drops the listeners off and bids them farewell.

After making his Pulsar debut with a stellar EP earlier this year, Marian Closca returns with his ‘Skyscape’ project, bringing with him two more tracks that will undoubtedly take your mind on a journey into the world of trance.

The first tune, ‘Steam Traveller’, features a heavy bassline that fights its way with an acidic synth, both providing the backdrop for a light and breezy pad and echoing vocals. 

As the breakdown comes in, all sounds collapse, before they build tension as they slowly rise again, with an arpeggiated synth leading the way over the bass and kicks, till the song collapses once again, and yet again rises, making this tune a very fluctuating one full of questions and uncertainty.

‘Quantum Fighter’ is a more percussive and rhythmic track, with soft beats and claps playing around the bass before a heavy kick drops in, leading towards a build-up of the pads and melodic synth—both gaining momentum as they move higher and faster.

In the breakdown, the listeners are led into a beautiful, open air environment, where the sounds of tweeting birds and orchestral instruments take over their senses.

In an instant, the arpeggios come in, quickly rising towards the return of the kicks, before the sound of the drum disappears, and makes another return, teasing the listeners before making them lose themselves in the final drop.
