For ‘Magenta’s next single transmission, musical maestro Giuseppe Ottaviani has teamed up with Dmitry Dmitriev, better known as Russian trance progressive producer Audiocells. Completing the release’s super troupe is vocalist Shannon Hurley and together they’ve conspired to create something a little bit low-slung and deliciously mood filled!! This is ‘I Am Your Shadow’. 

With the launch of his GO On Air Recordings imprint and the release of the Alana Aldea collaboration ‘Heal This Empty Heart’, Giuseppe’s 2014 was fast off the blocks. March sees the Italian electronic music composer supersize another of the ‘Magenta’ album’s vocal prizes into an incredible single. 

Singer Shannon Hurley (who’s previously toplined tracks for Alex M.O.R.P.H., Tenishia, Andy Duguid, Protoculture and others) brings no small amount of vocal haunt and mystique to her lyrical lines and vocal intonations. Giuseppe underpins them with one of his typically thrusting, sinuous productions, while Audio Cells supply their darkly more atmospheric trance-progressive top layer to further shade ‘Magenta’s palette.

Shingo Nakamura recently presented his "Only Silk 02" compilation on our parent label, including various tracks of his own. One of the most exciting contributions was "Tribute", a collaboration with rising Russian talent Stendahl. We're thrilled to present this track as a full single, including a remix by global trance phenom Gal Abutbul and occasional collaborator Mimram. A Silk veteran and one of Shingo's friends, Kazusa, also provides a wonderful interpretation.

The Original Mix is an uplifting affair from the very start, centering on soothing pads, a mellifluous chord progression, and fluttering arpeggio lines. In the main break, Shingo delivers a soulful, deeply romantic piano instrumental. After a short breakbeat interlude, the main chords re-appear with tremendous emotional resonance. 

Gal Abutbul and fellow Israeli talent Mimram have teamed up on an inspired, peak-hour remix. A thunderous groove sets the tone early, as well as a variety of swirling arp lines. In the main break, we are met with the gorgeous piano lines of the original mix, as well as sweeping strings and heavenly vox. Finally, the ethereal soundscape makes way for a roaring drop.

Kazusa's "floating-on-air" rendering rounds out the package. He truly captures the light-hearted essence of the original, as a variety of delicate, beachside melodies soar above a gentle groove.

It has been almost a year since we released the original mix of Fade Away by Serbian trio Triplane that featured magnificent vocals of Juli. Now fast forward ahead the track is a true vocal trance classic that just begged for a proper re-release with some additional mixes, that beside the digital release are also published on CD as well.

One of our best producers have worked on the remix album, including Alekzander formerly known as Sensi, Alex Wackii teaming up with his friend Julian Wess, Ascania, Danny Chen & Bart Panco.

Danny Chen is the new name on our label, but should be a familiar name to avid trance listeners as he is already gaining support of the biggest DJ's. His remix has turned the original into a festival banger with raw synths and a breakdown to die for; introducing new lead sounds that drop on us like a tsunami.

Alekzander has upgraded his sound a lot since we last met with him on Pulsar, the remix is a perfect balance between the raw progressive sounds and emotional trance landscapes that all dance together to create one unique approach to this already amazing track.

Ascania worked his magic to make the original piece even more emotional, by adding new synths and swirling sounds that accentuate Juli's vocals even more, hitting it right in the sweet spot.

Alex Wackii & Julian Wess gave us a track with minimalistic approach, dirty sounds, pumped up bass and kick tuned to the max, ready to tear up those club speakers.

Final but not least is Bart Panco's mix, that has something unique to it, something perfect for the coming summer season, a serene and truly relaxing piece of music that will easy your day and carry you away on the lightest wave, rounding it up for this amazing re-release.

Colonial One make their long awaited return and cure the trance craving their adoring fans have been waiting for. Teaming up with Simon Latham, the Colonial One boys serve up another slick trancer in the form of ‘Freedom’.

Perfectly uplifting and sumptuous. Just some of the words to describe this unique original cut. Simon’s vocal perfectly lifts the track with his unique tones, as the energy begins to build from the soft chords and soothing pads. The break is pretty special with its cool laid back groove, uplifting vibe and enchanting melody.

Never one to put a foot wrong and always on hand to deliver that pin point trance hit, Ultimate is back and delivers yet another magnificent electronic journey. We don't get to deal with many female producers in this genre, but when we do it's a total refreshment, as something new is brought to the table. Aitra is one of them, with a track called Through It All. The production starts with a soothing intro, revealing angelic voice that will guide us in this journey. The heart of the song is emotionally driven with dreamy vocals and soft piano melodies that go so well together.

The first one to step up to this duty is Andy Groove from Ukraine with whom we've already met before. Andy van Kayne returns to Pulsar Recordings, bringing with him a slow and progressive tune that is sure to uplift the listeners.

‘Open Gates’ is characterized by a slow-moving synth that rises out of the initial silence, accompanied by beautiful female vocals, and a calm, twinkling melody.

Bart Panco’s remix is a more energetic version, starting with the traditional rolling bass and pumping kicks, before the synth rushes in and leads to a fast melody that is nevertheless equally as serene as the one in the original mix.

The breakdown in this tune is led by a heavy piano melody and female vocals (stripped out of the dub mix) that move towards a sudden drop, where the initial, calm melody continues to ring.

After all the banging instrumentals it’s time to deal with some vocal trance tracks, don’t you think? Our newest vocal release comes from Triplane, a progressive trance project by Serbian trio that was founded back in 2011, but only now we’re seeing a daylight of their first productions.

Their debut release ‘Fade Away’ features vocals by Juli, who’s voice complements this production so graciously that you wonder why you haven’t heard this angelic voice before? Beneath of that, Triplane delivered a cutting edge progressive trance instrumental with pounding beats and electrifying leading synths that add that much needed club feel to it.

To reach the perfection, they composed an overly emotional piano melody that is released in the breakdown adding its memorable key ingredient, and right there you know why we still call this genre, trance, as it will put you exactly in that state of a mind.
