Momento is based in a personal experience, it's about connection at first sight and a long distance relationship. I layered some interesting synths and interesting vocal harmonies. It is emotional and uplifting although melancholic at the same time.

Super Mario Galaxy is a good game. Gusty Garden Galaxy is a good song.

Made in Famitracker using VRC6+MMC5 expansions. Also overclocked to 400 Hz, which means that you probably don't want to try playing this on a real NES.

Personally I feel like this is one of my best pieces of work.
I got stuck close to the end trying to figure out the second part of the drop. at first the beat had a more dubsteppy feel, but the transition into it was really jarring, so I just changed it back to a trap beat. The transition back into stereotypical 8-bit at the very end might also be a little sudden, I don't really know.
