Ute.Rec and Amniote Editions team up once again, for another collaborative fundraiser release. With 16 tracks, spanning from psychedelic and melodic scanditrance to trippy and tribal techno cuts.

All the proceeds for the compilation will be donated to Bridges over Borders. A community-based collective aiming to support BIPoC, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalised individuals fleeing the war in Ukraine.

their music influences come from Trance, Techno and EBM.
Tadan’s experience in making beats and V2’s passion for
film and sound design, joint together result in high energy
cinematic music.

area127 brings a fresh collab between Tadan and V2 -
exemplifying the label's ethos of bringing artists together for
raw live sessions.
This release is the result of one deep-night experimental
session. Made without a plan, but expect some

黑芝麻 (Hēi zhī ma) invites you to retreat inwards - on both the physical plane and within the depths of your psyche - as part of the Pure Space Home Listening series. 

Imagined during lockdown, Pure Space Home Listening // 黑芝麻和朋友们 (Hēi zhī ma and friends) probes home listening in the context of isolation.
As an artist, 黑芝麻 leans into the more emotive facets of sound, utilizing sonic and cerebral contrasts to subtly lull the listener into a journey unforeseen. This release sees them infuse this approach within their collaborations with artists Merph, Shoeb Ahmad, Moktar and Zhi. 

The artists explore the familiar feelings of solitude, urgency and release firmly etched into our collective consciousness, both synchronously and through their own distinct lens. 

“I Miss You” lulls you in with emotive pads that float above a sharp breakbeat and voice notes engulfed with longing. “Take Me Anywhere” provides a feeling of relief, as groove-laden techno bounces off the walls and into the abyss. “Associations” is an introspective, spacious and haunting track you want to float on and on. As you glide between these offerings, the intro and outro tracks hold space for tender ruminations.

The release serves as an archive of a more contemplative and confined period, through the distant murmur of voice notes, the metamorphosing drone of ambient soundscapes, poetic reveries that hang in the air, the rattling percussion of a breakbeat or techno high-hat and the gentle backdrop hums of nature.
This is an immersive audiovisual experience. Filmmaker Jane Inyang reimagines the EP in a short film through different listening contexts during a day in isolation for the protagonist. This short film will be accessible by a QR code in an accompanying poster and zine, which will also feature artist photos, recipes and poetry alongside the work of artist Jacquie Meng and photographer Chanel Nguyen. There will also be a limited run of earrings by Joanne Leong.

Subsism is a DJ, a producer, but above all a fan of electronic music, his strength is to always know how to take his audience with him, on his favourite ground. 

He is the ultimate selector, mixing trance, bass, and breaks ~ in other words: the fertile ground of his universe, characterizing his musical prism. 

He characterizes his sets by the alliance of oldschool and modern sounds, between 90's party and the best of the scene of the moment.

EP Description :
The 4 original tracks are full of club energy: groove galore, trancy effervescence and a whirlwind of acid, creating a set designed for the dancefloor, to be read through the prism of the night and the party.

Two remixes (Maruwa + De Grandi) are featured on the ep and bring a singular reinterpretation of the original tracks.

Word of the artist:
Luminous depths, designed for our dancefloors and nights, I welcome you on board for a carefully chosen journey, chiseled rhythms, trance landscape, sometimes dark, sometimes reassuring, intended for our festive experiences.

Six dense tracks, including two very nice remixes by artists Maruwa and De Grandi, whom I like very much, and which bring a particular resonance to the EP.
