This is another far out track from me and Stonerjazz.  This one is probably the furthest out there we've gone.  Jeff sent over some stems that were out of this world and I mixed them into a tune I'd had and now you have Velcron.  It's an intentional mispronunciation of the word Velcro just to drive certain family members crazy over the years

"POINT OF NO RETURN" - the 7th track from "Metamorfosi" album telling the story of a composer who wanted to write music for "Alice in Wonderland" and found herself falling through a rabbit hole opened in her piano. This track is the chapter where the Composer completed their transformation into "Alice", opened the door and entered the "Metamorfosi" world. There is no going back to the real world.

This story is not about Alice. Although, we’ve all had Alice in our lives. As well as the Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and Jabberwocky, in one form or another. This story is about you. This story is about me.

My life has been swirling around Wonderland for a long time. I have two cats who are as mischievous as Cheshire’s smile. I have Mad Hatter for a husband, crazy enough to believe in three impossible things before breakfast and all day long, and even crazier to make them real. I have Tweedledee and Tweedledum for kids, complementing each other in curious ways. I have my own inner demons to fight against, be it the Red Queen or Jabberwocky.

Together with my Mad Hatter we’ve been playing this eternal chess game of Metamorphosis, transforming dreams into reality. We both felt like Alice’s story just wanted to hatch through our music into the wonder of this world. And it finally did, bending time and reflecting the sky. All we had to do is making the choice to follow the White Rabbit down the Rabbit Hole. It took us to places we’ve never been before. And this journey becomes Curiouser and Curiouser ever.

We are all mad here!

  This song started with Artur composing a brilliant, open piece on his guitar, in his distinct surf rock style, and sending it to Josh. Josh put the bass down on top of Ken's banging drums, but it took Josh, a while to be able to get this one for some reason. Once he and Ken were locked in, though, they knew they had it. JJ then sprinkled his electric keyboard magic, followed by Tez, who lights up the whole thing with his electric guitar wizardry. 
  At Artur's request, Ken, JJ, and Josh added the big harmony vocals, "See you soon, in a better world." Artur wanted this song to be about the need for peace in the world. Last, but certainly not least, Stephen added the sitar intro. He also accomplished the herculean task of mixing and producing the whole thing for us.
  This is another true team effort by the Eclectic Collective, and the fourth in our series of surf rock songs. This also happens to coincide with Artur's birthday, so please go to his page and wish him a happy birthday. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
