Waiting to capture my thoughts in a cage
Cold streets are paved with infinite sadness
And all I see are swans leaving the place

The sound in my head is The Flowers of Evil
A selection of songs for nostalgic days
Walking alone is a blissful experience
I don't need anyone to tell me I'm wrong.

Playing our roles in a never ending script,
Laughing and crying and seeking for happiness,
A possibility born out of our consciousness
But hold on, it's an illusion.
We make the big mistake of thinking that there's enough time for everything
When in fact, there's none.

And I look back at all these people 
Drowning in their own futile existence without even knowing how insignificant it is
Nothing but particles of dust
I wish it was stardust, but it's no more than galactic trash.

I am in the process of writing my fifth album which I hope to record at some stage during the year..

Musical influences for me have been many and varied including for example Bert Jansch, John Martyn, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Mark Knopfler, BB King, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Fairport Convention, Paul Simon,  JJ Cale, Eric Clapton, Colin Hay and John Mayer.
