From the heart of Largs’s (a seaside town in North Ayrshire)  underground scene comes a multi-hyphenate artist who defies easy categorization. 
I’m Anna Wylie—actor, singer, DJ, producer, and relentless creative spirit. 
My roots are deep in the vibrant cultural soil of Largs / Glasgow, and my sound is shaped by the energy, edge, and raw emotion that this city breathes.

Music has always been a language I speak fluently—before I had words, I had rhythm. 
I grew up surrounded by stories, melodies, and movement, which led me to explore acting and performance early on. 
But it wasn’t long before I found myself behind the decks and in the studio, translating emotion into beats and textures.

Whether I’m crafting melancholic melodies layered with ambient synths, spinning deep house in a sweaty basement, or experimenting with sonic storytelling, I’m always chasing that moment—that click—when sound becomes feeling. 
I’m not here to follow formulas. 
I’m here to make music that connects.

🌀 Genres & Vibes
Expect a blend of downtempo, minimal techno, progressive house, ambient, experimental electronica, and whatever else feels right. 
I create intuitively—always mood-driven, always raw, always real.

🌌 What Inspires Me
Late-night city lights. 
Underground clubs. 
Film soundtracks. 
The glitch between thoughts. 
The echo of a synth in a concrete stairwell. 
The feeling of walking home alone with headphones on after a night out—still buzzing, still processing.

🎭 Beyond the Music
I’m also a trained actor and performance artist. 
My work on stage and in film bleeds into my music and vice versa. I see every track as a narrative, every mix as a journey, every soundscape as a scene. 
If you listen closely, you’ll hear the characters, the tension, the quiet vulnerability beneath the surface.

🎓 Currently
Studying and constantly evolving—musically, artistically, and spiritually. 
I’m deepening my knowledge, refining my production, and pushing into new territories.

There’s more coming, and it’s only getting weirder (in the best way).

this same approach extends into dub series, a project originally founded with long-standing late collaborator niamh jobson and now co-hosted with danny greenman (dj greenman), focusing on dub techno and its influence across other sub-genres.

in 2024, she launched 313 connection at la cheetah alongside glasgow selector undercurrent, a night dedicated to the deep connection between detroit and glasgow’s underground. though new, it has already cemented itself as a key fixture in the city’s scene.

beyond djing, kairogen is deeply embedded in the scene, freelancing across lighting, sound, label artwork, and bar residencies, all while keeping a strong connection to the wider club community.

a resident for both epika, the all-femme edinburgh-based collective, and london’s sisu crew, she moves between a wide spectrum of sounds—whether it’s the melodic side of techno, electro, house, or ambient.

with a passion for playing with emotions and creating a sense of togetherness through sound, she crafts sets that feel immersive, intuitive, and deeply connected to the dancefloor.
