Joining us is Goran Juric aka TALPA to shed some light on goings-on in Talpania and elsewhere, with news about the very timely Violently Happy release this Halloween and a mix following the talk.

Talpa a.k.a. Goran Juric was born on 22nd of July, 1982. The very first idea for this project he got in November 1999 attending the big techno/trance party "TraNSplant 2" in mega-club 'Paradiso' in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Soon after starts the big and active work on music making and production inspired by original goa trance sound. Many tracks are compiled, production gets better and better and after 3 years of hard work he finally finds the sound that will become his main occupation in the upcoming period.
Making contacts with Trance labels, record companies and artists around the world who showed a big interest in this project is the first big step in his career. His music finally gets its way to the audience.

After thoughtful negotiations a decision is made: "SunDance records" from Australia. In the summer of 2002 they released two Talpa's tracks on the 'Vibraspirit 23' compilation: 'Kalashari' & 'Mandragor'. In the summer of 2003 one more track found its place on SunDance's release 'SunDaze'. It is a single called 'Talpania'.

Talpa also released the album "The Art Of Being Non" with "SunDance Records".

Apart from project Talpa, Goran works on one more project (currently without any working name) which goes deeply into downbeat music mixing it with psy trance and freestyle flavor…

The very first edition of On the Way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 is kicking off with SOUTHWILD (aka Jay of Rastaliens) and some wild and inspirational things spiced with a special mix to build up our appetites for the new Southwild album.

Jay is a electronic music producer from the south(wild) Black-Forrest in Germany. Together with his friend Ralph(Braincell/Solarspectrum)he foundet the psychedelic trance project Rastaliens about more then 13 years ago... over the years of playing in clubs and festivals worldwide Rastaliens got well known by manny people for psytrance with an funny unique style.

Southwild is Jays new project and 2010 he joined the UK based label Wildthings records wich is a solid established label for twisted positive psychedelic trance.
Jay is ready to release his debut album on Wildthings records in the near future so as serveral tracks on compilations on Wildthings,Peak records and Mind Funk.

He also works with other musicans arround the globe and did collaborations with Ajja,Evp, Ekoplex,Primordial Ooze,Random, Braincell and other friends in the psytrance scene.

Jay also works as a mastering engeneer in Toronto/Canada where he has his studio based.He mastered serveral projects from chill out /down beat to all sorts of electronic music.

SOUTHWILD | On The Way To O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 Main Stage | 30/12/2015

The second edition of On the Way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 stars a true pioneer of Russian night psytrance and radiOzora resident from the very beginning, FUNGUS FUNK who's with us to spread some spores and sounds that we can look forward to this summer in the Ozorian valley.

Fungus Funk aka Sergey Prilepa, the legendary Russian psytrance artist began writing psychedelic tunes right before the Millenium and started to release the first Fungus Funk tracks in 2001 on record labels like Acidance Records, Discovalley or Crystal Matrix and many others. His famous debut album called “F People” came out on Acidance in 2006 overflowing with groovy baselines, aggressive synths, warm melodies and those signature psychedelic atmospheres you can still experience on every Fungus Funk release ever since, be it an own composition or a remix made for a fellow musician. The second full-length Fungus Funk album found his home at half Russian, half Australian label Blitz Music, where Sergey released his third and last album to date as well in 2010 called “Electric Grooves”.

The original Fungus Funk sound always keeps a masterful balance of complex textures and arrangements that lead the listener through a deep and interesting journey of that hazy period of time between the psychedelic night and morning. These days Fungus Funk is busy working on the material of his forthcoming new studio album and interesting side-projects such as releasing under the name Astroff or collaborating with fellow psytrance musicians like Para Halu, Obliviant, Drip Drop, Virtual Light and more.

The 10th edition of the monthly Parvati Records Series represents by German veteran psychedelic DJ ILSE.

ILSE was born 1973 as Stephan Ilse in Hamburg / Germany. After school he made his alternative service and massively was infected with the psychedelic virus back in ’91. He realized to work in a regular job as a commercial assistant, which is his regular profession, would not make him happy, and started to visit more and more parties and festivals to decide finally playing on smaller events spreading his idea of psytrance.
In Germany they have a very big scene in nearly every genre, so it was easy for him to find his place in it, even the area he lives in is dominated by the progressive community. According to his frequent work for the Mushroom Magazine in Germany he uses to write reviews for labels known for acid-ridden high end psytrance as well articles for artists and festival reviews. “I feel to invade this magazine with real psychedelics”.

His sets are usually dedicated to the nighttime acid crowd and so he played already with many famous acts and had the pleasure to play on Boom Festival 2006.

Always following the most trippy aspect in psytrance, he uses to like a lot of diverse styles as long its intelligent and versed made, which is to be heard in his sets, so deep groovy morning tunes possible as well as long the trip factor dominates.

Frostbite is Miguel Letria (Unretro) and Ricardo Estanislau (Valac), both from Lisbon, Portugal.

Combining both extensive musical knowledge and technical experience, these two friends decided to join forces to bring you a refreshing interpretation of PsyTrance. Their DJ sets take you on a ride ranging from the slower progressive grooves to the more intense psychedelic tunes, showing their versatility, allowing them to be perfectly fit in whatever time slot they’re assigned, while still doing everything to remain true to the essence of the genre.
Since its inception – in 2012 – they have already shared the stage with some of the most sought after international acts, as well as many of their dearest national dj’s. They also have both played for the top event promoters in Portugal such as Samaveda, Crystal Matrix, Space Music Drops, Magic Dreams or Digital Oracle, having also played at the last two editions of Freedom Festival. Frostbite is a part of the South African label One Foot Groove Records where they work as Label and Artist Managers.
2015 saw the release of their first compilation “Travel Agency” to an astounding success, reaching #1 and #4 on Juno Download and Beatport’s respective charts.  In November 2015 they were invited to join the Austrian label 24/7 Records, home to acts such as Materia, Brainiac or Sinerider.
2016 is shaping up to be a massive year for them, with big national and international gigs and another compilation in the works.

FROSTBITE | 24/7 Records Series Vol.15 | 05/04/2016

sG4rY is an anthropologist, movie maker, freelance-writer, general adventurist and Psytrance-DJ from Bavaria, currently residing in its beautiful capital Munich. He represents the labels Sangoma Records as well as Purple Hexagon Records with his side project Brot3rys together with DJ Merry.

His heavy itchy feet syndrom, his taste in a wide range of styles in Psychedelic Trance and the lust for encountering new like minded psychonauts has led him to perform at events such as Antaris Project (Germany) , Hilltop New Years Eve (Goa/India), Momento Demento Festival (Croatia), Kosmos Festival (Finland), Universal Religion (Nepal), Trimurti Festival (Russia), Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival (Germany), Yaga Gathering (Lithuania) and countless other events around Austria, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, India, Italy, Lithuania, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and the Netherlands.
Not being caught in one style or direction, he is constantly trying to discover and fuse different varieties of psychedelic music with the aim of overcoming musical boundaries that had been created in people’s minds due to the musical fragmentation happening nowadays in the Psychedelic Trance Movement. Creating a journey sui generis for his listeners is his biggest aspiration. Psychedelic Trance has to be approached from different angles, using the many colorful vibrations it offers. Therefore, sG4rY likes to play sets as long as possible in order to draw from the different musical influences he gets from befriended artists, musicians and freaks around the globe. Nightly journeys that dissolve towards the first glimpses of the new day as well as sending the crowd into the night with a powerful kick off, or even sunny variations with non-cheesy hypnotic daytime trance are all part of his repertoire. He loves that special energy during sunrise and sunset on the dancefloor and tries to use it for involving the crowd into a flow of certain feelings and sensations, sometimes humorous, sometimes gloomy or filled with deep emotions. His numerous various artist releases over the years on different labels mirror this passion for musical variety and expression.

sG4rY furthermore decided together with his Brother-from-anotha-Motha DJ Merry:) to launch a DJ-project called Brotherys. Since 2010, they play their mixture of of powerful, deep and groovy Night Stuff and lysergical Forest Sounds for dancefloors around the globe and have compiled both Brotherys Balderdash Compilation, released on Purple Hexagon Records.

Next to his involvement in the two labels Sangoma Records and Purple Hexagon Records, sG4rY is also an active part of the Gaggalacka Festival, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in the late summer of 2016.

Oh Lordy it’s Fordy! With many years of mixing experience, you can be assured that you’re partying with a pro when you book the legend that is Fordy! From the early days of the pioneering underground parties like Spooky & Pickle parties in the woods near his home through to dj residencies & appearances at parties all around the globe such as Psychedelic Circle, Secretsoma, The Experience Festival, Ban Sabaii, Brainwaves, Psymera, Tribal Sphere, Fluff Squad, Shattered Barriers, Planet Bob, 9 Bar, Roots, Free-Spirit, Freak Bazaar, 5th Element, Quantum Mind, Indian Connection, Newfoundland, Astral Circus, Earthcore, Free Bass, Bass Station, System 6, Beats Around The Bush, MadAsss, Cohesion, Offworld and Cosmo festivals and so many more – if it’s a party worth going to he’ll either be rocking their socks off or carving it up on the dancefloor if he’s not behind the decks.

He progressed onto creating epic tracks with Fedro under the LOS CUSTARDOS guise, unfortumnately Fedro died in 2015 but some of their music will released very soon by Blue Hour Sounds Records. Look out for their debut E.P. coming soon. He also produces music with Noctem as Confusionism, all of which adds a unique sound to his high energy DJ sets. In this edition of Iono Music’s series presents Portugal duo Ivan Filipe and Daniel Bernardo a.k.a. ATMOIZERS.

Plants, animals, people, and objects – They are all made out of one of the smallest unit known to civilization, the atom. Combining vibrations, these particles are assembled into different shapes and conditions that mutate according to a particular melody. The soundtrack of each material is then determined by moods, feelings and emotions. Recently a new formula was discovered, a revolutionary substance that has the power to generate electronic-sonic frequencies that can transform the nucleus structure and create something else, something better, something mesmerizing – Atomizers.
The origin of this new configuration is in Portugal, specifically with its inventors Ivan Filipe and Daniel Bernardo. Known for his multiple personalities as Holophonik, Ankh, Existence, Holographic Brain,and Techyon – Filipe decided it was time for the next improved experiment, and it had to be in collaboration with Bernardo. Coming from a rave fuelled family, Filipe was inspired by his father’s club at the center of Portugal and a Psytrance party he went to in 1996 and took this passion to the next level – creating music. He started producing music in 2000 and shortly after in 2001 he started DJing. Inspired by the spiritual cultures he experienced in India, Filipe learned to play the flute and explore the musical sensibilities of the locals. Fascinated by non-Western sounds, Ivan went to absorb inspiration in Thailand, Morocco, Sahara, Egypt, and Cambodia to enhance his artistic endeavour. The tuning of his expertise continued with learning electronic music production in Etic art school, as well as acquiring mixing and mastering skills.

The other scientist, Bernardo, is also notorious for his skilful shenanigans. A natural born musician, Daniel played guitar and drums to express his fury in Metal bands during the early 1990s. From 1995 he was hooked to electronic music. His first Boom festival experience in 1998 made him realise his magnetic force must be translated to Psytrance music. It took him 4 years to release his first album, in 2002, as Menog – Natural Behaviour – And the rest is a vibrating history. After numerous albums, remixes and EPs released in labels such as Nutek, 3Division, Shiva Space Tech, Phantasm , SpaceTribe Music, Digital Psionics , Acidance, Planet Ben, and many more – It was time to spice it up and create a super hybrid material, and so, in 2013 (?) – Atomizers was created.

Combining the knowledge of these two laboratory technicians means the ultimate recipe for a dance you will never forget. Mixing body, mind and soul, Atomizers will distort everything sonic science thought it knew before, and introduce new frontiers to sound, beat and hypnotizing orchestra. Mutations and abnormalities will burst and explode, but the allure and mystic will grow exponentially. You will not be able to resist, as your body will go crazy. (or: as this project will blow your mind)

They have know each other since 2001, but only now in 2013 they decided to start a project together,
First ep was released at Iono Music July 2014.
At the Moment they are working on their Debut Album to be released on Iono.
Expect lots of feelings in this galactic combination, from more progressive sound to a bit of Psy.
They are bound to blast every dance floor on planet earth.

SAD PARADISE is the progressive psytech project of James Copeland from Cape Town.

Having spent the last decade as one of the pioneers of the South African psytrance scene with his full on project Broken Toy, the time was right to seek new horizons and new challenges. A new modern psychedelic sound had to be born.
Sad Paradise – a feeling of contradiction in beauty and happiness describes the mixed emotions conjured up by this experience. Searing intense cerebral moments opening out onto lush landscapes of sound both spacious yet deep – groovy yet driving. It’s years of experience culminating in the sound of now with the feel of the oldschool, so it’s no surprise that he`s got respect and remixes from some of the best in the business, such as Perfect Stranger, Ace Ventura, Rocky, Zyce, Capital Monkey and the list goes on.

With his first batch of releases going out on top labels like Iboga, Echoes, Iono and now signed to the mighty Nano Records, it wasn’t long before this young project was off to see the world, having already travelled as far afield as Germany , Australia, Mexico and Brazil all within its first year.
