Molecularia - Why Is Six Afraid Of Seven? [BMSS Records | 2022]

This Maharetta episode features FICTION, the psychedelic trance project of Nikola Peric (part of Makida project), from Belgrade, Serbia. After years of total devotion to Makida, Nikola had to put his solo carrier on a side. Now, when Makida’s fan base has grown strong and continues to conquer the world's psytrance scene, he decided to activate his solo project as well. He’s debut EP “PsyNalysis” was released on Transcape Records in May 2017 and was instant hit. In the summer of 2018 Fiction joined Maharetta Records & with this new project, aiming to bring good old times back, psytrance like we had in the 2000s. Distorted, twisting, powerful soundtracks with melodic main leads, and a strong ending message – that’s FICTION!

This piece was created by techlab.bp members slym and szoliver for the final edition of Hungary’s Kolorádó Festival, held deep in a forest near Budapest. They had the honor of closing the legendary Csodaszarvas Stage forever, and composed this track as the opening moment of their set.

The stage’s name refers to the Csodaszarvas (“miraculous stag”), one of the most ancient symbols in Hungarian mythology. According to the myth, the stag led the ancestors of the Hungarians on a journey to new lands, becoming a timeless emblem of guidance, destiny, and the search for community.

In that same spirit, this track was written as a musical invocation of transition and unity, a final call to gather, journey, and celebrate together under the forest canopy, before the Csodaszarvas Stage passed into legend.
