His career, steeped in the art of crafting sensitive sonic landscapes, seamlessly blends of magnetic techno, hypnotic  rhythms, and ethereal melodies, inviting listeners on a transcendent voyage through time and space. 
With revered labels such as Soma, Mord, and Skryptom placing their unwavering trust in his musical prowess, Kmyle’s journey serves as  a living testament to his artistry. 
A genuine audio composer, French Kmyle's mastery extends far beyond the studio. His magnetic presence ignites euphoria during live  performances, where he effortlessly enthralls audiences  techno improvisation Lives , immersive Spatialised 360° experiences, and extended classy Dj sets . His music, a harmonious blend of icy melancholy and exhilarating vigor, acts as a canvas  that paints vivid emotions through sound. 
In 2020, Kmyle embarked on an exciting new chapter by launching "Kmyle Records," a label destined to redefine sonic horizons. The  label's inaugural release, 'Wasteland,' garnered acclaim from fellow artists and the global press, reinforcing that Kmyle’s influence  knows no bounds. 
Kmyle’s musical journey originates in the south of France, surrounded by a rich tapestry of sounds. His creative palette is a  fusion of cinematic scores, eclectic inspirations such as Björk, Trentmøller, and the timeless Pink Floyd. This diverse blend seamlessly  integrates classical roots, electronic nuances, and the evocative echoes of psychedelic rock and finds inspiration in science fiction cinema, a genre he deeply admires, adding another layer to his artistic influences. 
Guided by influential figures such as Luke Slater, Blawan, and the esteemed Laurent Garnier, Kmyle meticulously carved out a  formidable career while nurturing enduring bonds. Kmyle's sonic journey thrived through collaborations with industry legends like Scan X, Zadig, Inigo Kennedy, or Manu Le Malin propelling his musical evolution. His tracks have found resonance among DJs globally, with spins from the likes of Ellen Allien to the venerable Ben Sims. Furthermore, his music has attracted remixes from notable artists such  as Vril, Umwelt, and others, while Kmyle himself has contributed remixes, including one for Extrawelt, further enriching his  collaborative endeavors. 
From 2021 to end 2025, Kmyle has graced the hallowed halls of Glazart Paris's After O'Clock as a cherished resident DJ. His  unwavering commitment to live performance sets him apart, conjuring uniquely electronic poetic moments that resonate with his  captivated audience.

This is a one-man band, but which also can be played around by joining many people. Because of being fascinated with “Sonic Youth,” because of having been hooked by “Guns N' Roses,” and the most main reason is because of “Sonic Death Monkey”—the band formed by Barry, the lippy clerk of a record shop in my favorite novel “High Fidelity,” I grudgingly pay a tribute to the inexistent band by having the name Sonic Deadhorse.” 
 
It’s the music for lonely urban women and men, the youths captivated by literature and art, dumb rockers, and the crazy raversIt’s the music embracing indulgency of 70s’, melancholy of 80s’, nihilism of 90s’, and isolation of the new century. It is post rock whimpers affecting 
sorrow violent electro, which is a smart-ass with poor. 

As everything faded away with the booming bass drum of TR808, those belonging to love and ignorance of youth seemed to vanish and be gone with Truffaut’s films. After these indescribable sentiments being extracted, I finally decided to play this band sincerely.

Have a long term cooperative relations with  Burma director Midi Z,and Variety said that  Midi Z's last film Poor Folk “ Have the excellent score by Sonic Deadhorse includes some terrific combinations of electronics and acoustic guitar.” 

Now Sonic Deadhorse is a  solo audio/visual controllerism artist  since 2011

Mathew Jonson is a phenomenon in electronic music. For nearly 40 years he has forged a sound instantly recognisable on the dance floor – often copied but impossible to imitate. Raw, analogue, and alive, he is a master of real-time performance who shapes drum machines and synthesisers into unforgettable journeys, making every show a one-off experience. From underground clubs to sold-out concert halls and collaborations with orchestras, Jonson’s name guarantees a performance of rare intensity and musicality.

His career took off in the early 2000s with influential releases on Perlon, Kompakt, M_nus, Cocoon, and ITISWHATITIS Recordings, a label where he released his very first record in 2001 and which he later acquired. Anthems like "Marionette" and "Decompression" established him as a producer of rare vision, while his live sets quickly became must-see events, consistently ranked among Resident Advisor’s top acts. During this period he was voted Best International Producer twice in Germany’s Groove Magazine, a testament to his impact on the European techno landscape, and went on to appear on the covers of DJ Mag, Groove, Synmag, and other leading publications. Unlike many, Jonson avoids the use of samples for melodic content, instead writing, performing, mixing and producing everything himself – even contributing his own voice and percussion – giving his music a depth and identity that is entirely his own.

Jonson’s discography spans era-defining singles and albums across labels like Crosstown Rebels and Fabric, where his "Fabric 84" mix captured the spirit of his live sets with unreleased edits and classics performed in real time. His two solo studio albums, "Agents Of Time" (2010, Wagon Repair) and "Her Blurry Pictures" (2013, Crosstown Rebels), expanded his scope even further – balancing intricate dance floor energy with explorations of deeper, more introspective sounds. He is currently working on his third studio album, a collaborative project featuring many artists living in Lisbon, where he now resides. His remix work is equally renowned, covering a wide spectrum of electronic music’s most influential figures. He has reimagined The Chemical Brothers ("Believe", "The Boxer"), Moby ("Slipping Away"), Cybotron ("Clear"), Kevin Saunderson ("Good Life"), Plastikman ("Plastique"), VCMG – Vince Clarke & Martin Gore ("Single Blip"), Goldie ("Redemption"), Josh Wink ("Higher State of Consciousness"), The Martinez Brothers ("No Pop"), Rone ("Nouveau Monde"), Joseph Capriati ("Love Changed Me"), Stephan Bodzin ("Tron"), and Alan Fitzpatrick ("Something Wonderful"), as well as crossover work with Nelly Furtado. These remixes underline his rare ability to bridge underground innovation with mainstream resonance.

He has also expanded beyond the club and festival circuit, collaborating with the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra and performing a sold-out show at the Berlin Philharmonie with Cobblestone Jazz. With that group, Jonson recorded two albums for the iconic !K7 label, further cementing their reputation as one of electronic music’s most respected live acts. Another landmark moment came with "Cinemix": a world premiere performance of a newly composed soundtrack for the silent film "Faust", created live by Jonson alongside Tyger Dhula, Danuel Tate, and Hrdvsion.

Beyond performance, Jonson has continued to innovate. In 2019 he launched Freedom Engine and its debut album "A Box Full Of Magic", followed by the creation of the Freedom Engine Academy – an educational platform built with handpicked mentors to pass on knowledge and foster collaboration. Now preparing to launch its 5th annual edition in 2026, the Academy has become a vital space for nurturing the next generation of electronic musicians.

Now, 25 years since his debut "New Identity" and nearly 40 years since first making electronic music, Jonson is preparing to celebrate a milestone anniversary in his career. Represented in Europe by LittleBig, his current projects include Freedom Engine, his collaboration with Âme, and his ongoing solo work as Mathew Jonson. A pioneer, a mentor, and an artist in constant motion, Mathew Jonson continues to shape the future of electronic music with every performance and release.
