She’s a native Angeleno and Korean by descent, but has developed a place in her heart for Vietnam. After visiting a few years back, Diana wanted to connect with the country through learning their stories and folktales. Until this story, Diana had actually never heard of starfruits, nor has she tasted one. When asking a Vietnamese friend about this fruit, she learned these fruits are usually reserved for wealthy families. And, that, according to her friend, starfruit doesn’t have a strong taste, similar to dragonfruit. She guesses she’ll have to find out for herself!
