The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Kilig. "Air In The Dark (Voicedrone Remix)". Lasha Jorjoliani is an often-unreadable enigma, lending much of his time to his studio, curating line-ups and sharpening his performances in the booth. Although an undeniable figurehead of the scene, Voicedrone is by no means explicitly tied to co-founding FOLD. 

Seven years on, Lasha is in an indestructible one-way lane, having developed a graphic, dynamic sound that we come together to experience. At his core is a passion to create and nurture community; this purpose is channelled into every event he plays - here at home, in Europe and beyond. Playing at influential venues and parties including his beloved HTBX London has preserved his significance in the underground scene and his constant admiration from the FOLD family.

The phrase “leading by example” may be somewhat overused, but in the case of Voicedrone, such a statement is entirely appropriate.

Info: After a couple of 4/4 releases, W133 finally returns to breakier, bassier territory — and presents its very first collaboration EP, entitled „Unifying Theme“. The two Berlin-based artists Prieste5s and Insomniast, who initially connected through the label and have both already blessed W133 with solo material, now team up and deliver something truly special. Their styles complement one another effortlessly, merging into a distinctive and interesting sound.
The EP kicks off with „Icons“ — a deep and heavy roller that blends pounding toms, fast-paced rhythms, and an eerie mystic energy. Things stay moody with „Last Things First“, where a rumbling bassline underpins distorted vocal chops that echo through the void.
„Surge“ continues in a similar spirit, upping the energy with crisp, high-frequency percs and swirling FX, before we flip to a slightly lighter note on „Tempest“. This one’s a bit more playful with multiple percussions, still driving but with a twinkle in its eye.
Closing out the EP is „This is not the End“, a slightly faster and certainly the most mischievous track of the release — high-pitched, water-meets-metal sounds and a juke-inspired rhythm make this one bounce with pure energy.
We sure hope the title of the last track isn’t lying, because we’re already excited for more output from this newly found duo.
As always, the release is complemented by a photograph by Philipp Roth. Out on 6.6.2025 via all digital platforms.
