This Haiku mix consists of several field recordings made from a resonating old iron bridge in the wind and falling melting snow in the morning sunlight.
Both these sources gave me this feeling of heavenly energy; both snow and wind being observed in the sky.

Using the method indicated, an original drone sequence of around 20 minutes, created in Pure Data, was reduced to its current length, which also resulted in some abrupt changes to pitch or timbre, especially in the second half..
The track was created with VLC using random or untimed fast-forward intervals & recorded with Audacity +Soundflower.
An interesting exercise.

Having downloaded the solo (twice), the duet & the trio, after carefully adjusting the dynamics, I arranged them in a canon-like sequence & then added a degree of reverb.

The Cold Forest Flaunts (naviarhaiku490)

This is the first of several pipe organ pieces I will be working on. The goal is to explore several types of organs for minimlist dronelike pieces of music. I am using the awesome virutal organs of the Virtual Organ Company, in this case the L'Orgue Couperin: http://www.virtualorgancompany.com/vritualvstfrenchbaroqueorgan.asp
The goal is to write music for the particular sound and sound possibilities of different pipe organs.
This project is inspired by the exceptional pipe organ work of Sarah Davachi, but of course I cannot imitate her, but have to go my own path.
