- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku382)”

For the 40th issue of the Moon Harbour Radio show, host Dan Drastic whips together a very special 2 hours DJ Mix. 

But before we dive into this, there are some smashing news to tell: Matthias Tanzmann has finished the new EP “Tilt” which will be released on Vinyl on August 28th and as download on September 4th. It features not only three new tracks by the Moon Harbour label boss himself, but also a remix bei Kris Wadsworth.

Also: Amsterdam Dance Event is just a short way off and the first Moon Harbour Showcases are already confirmed: As there are “Joris Voorn & Matthias Tanzmann present” @ Roest on October 17th, with Joris Voorn, Matthias Tanzmann, Sable Sheep, Italoboyz, Dan Drastic & many others. Saitō Sanki (1900 – 1962) was a dentist who discovered his passion for haiku poetry in his mid-thirties when his colleagues at the hospital in Soto Kanda convinced him to write a haiku for a collection. Later, he became one of the most important exponents of wartime haiku: he was imprisoned in 1940 during the government’s World War II persecution of controversial artists, and was officially forbidden to write until the end of the war.
