I swear the man knows my musical heart and soul. So after one day and a few listens it went into my daw-recorder. After a couple of takes the piece grew into another collaboration. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Life Finds Its Way Anyway w/Ingvar Tautra is another collaboration with the legendary Mr Tautra. His piece "Life Finds Its Way Anyway" moved me in a way that captures my heart, mind and musical soul. So here it is. 

Ingvar Tautra:  Electric piano, electric guitar and electric bass guitar. The initial drums are from his recorder.

Re - Life Finds Its Way Anyway w/ Agnostura Elwar aka Ingvar Tautra

Distant Lives is the result of my first experiments with frequency modulation. I finally opened Ableton Operator to see how it works, and when I heard this three-overtone saw wave modulated by a 4-bit sine, I instantly fell in love with it. I randomly played some notes on my MIDI keyboard, and this surprisingly sweet melody emerged.

It reminded me of a few images I shot last winter at the Siófok pier—a red lantern coloring the shoreline and casting new light on the dusk. Aren't we all just mesmerized by the sight of great lakes and seas? Contemplating distances and unreachable goals? Are there people standing on the other side, looking in our direction with the same curiosity as us? Is there a better life waiting for us all, or is this the better life?

This is a rare case of image and sound inspiring each other in a feedback loop. I quite like this piece, and I hope you find something in it too.

There are countless covers of this amazing song and surprisingly most of them are pretty amazing. I just wanted to say thank you to Andy for all the amazing music he shared with the world. I hope this tribute finds you.

Cry For You

The piece is based around Agnostura Elwar's https://soundcloud.com/agnosturaelwar May 14th open collaboration clip 3.5. His beautiful moving guitar riff made me smile and laugh.  I felt like a three year old again jumping up and down.  It was pure magic for me!

Ingvar I was thinking to add piano but the more I listened to this the less I felt complied to do so. I just love the riff. It is all so sweet like a child's smile..

This piece was something I initially composed as a submission/invitation   to the fabulous Agnostura Elwar. @agnosturaelwar. I was lucky enough for him to reply with something I believe that is something very special. In my mind at least, we seem to have some kind of chemistry together that defies distance, space and time. I hope you agree .

My dear friend  Ingvar blessed me with a great guitar part and these kind words about this piece, " My brother from Wet Mountain Valley, Colorado, United States, mr. Re-Evolution Café Orchestra @re-evolution_cafe has sent me several great recordings for me to add something. Thats an honor, but also its hard work, hahaha."  

"Well, this was challenging, I did it the free spirit way. It would have been easier to do it through the guitaramp, hi gain, load because then you feel the music much on your body than sitting with headphones and play. This is without a lot of rehearsal just because if I rehears to much I tries to hard to follow scales and harmonies, but this music aint about that. I think leaving music theory is good learning, be free from the chains."

I am lucky to have such a kind talented collaborator who is willing and able to risk playing so emotionally soulful. Bravo sir!
