LLOYD PAUL - You and I (Ft. BRUNAJ) | Kitsuné Musique

Born in the Alps on a small house spreading between the Italian and Swiss border, Alan Strani is a transdisciplinary artist exploring music and visual arts. For his new album, he invited artists Saeko Killy, Dasha Utochka (Love Object) and French singer Tessa Martin to join him in his attempt to musically make sense of the current Zeitgeist while questioning our relation to the digital world. The result is the album carried by its homonym single Apocalypso, a wordplay suggesting that, in the face of a possible emerging Apocalypse, like Ulysse during his Odyssey, the entire world is being distracted by the charms of the Calypso nymph. The album 'Apocalypso' will be out late 2022.

With inspirations spanning from Samurai Movies of the 1950's across Hip-Hop from the 80's, to white-labelled tool-techno records and Anime from the 90's, Narciss has catapulted themself into the contemporary hard dance spotlight with a flurry of furious cuts on Lobster Theremin and 1ØPILLSMATE, and now the German producer readies four synth-wavey bops of pop-techno and hardcore on Eurodance Inc.

Staying true to the Eurodance aesthetic, and following one of the year's most well received dance music records in DJ Heartstring’s ‘4 The People’, ‘House Of Pleasure’ displays Narciss’ love for splashes of colour amongst the usually-grey Berlin soundscape. Taking as much influence from the golden-era of trance electronics as it is the Tresor heyday, it’s gradual incline from techno to eurodance is completed on ‘Power To The People’; a cut of deep trance that touches the border of cheese whilst maintaining a headsy, underground appeal.

‘ADHDisco’ is a warped sequence of classic soul nostalgia and high speed futuristic brain-dance that plays out like an alien discovering Northern Soul for the first time, before the classic hardcore synth patterns and unrelenting kicks of ‘Lovechild (LOVE mix) lay the foundation for a soulfully transcendent cut of classic Chicago and hard-house blends.

Superfancy Recordings is back on track. The second release after the label's relaunch comes from Stephan Zovsky (3000° Records, Style Rockets): After several remixes and compilations „Maybe Less“ EP is his first solo release on Superfancy Recordings.
„Horizont“ and „We Should“ are two true melodic techno hymns. Driving beats in combination with spheric lead sounds and arpeggio sequences which stay in mind turn these tracks in some dancefloor killers.
„ID Error“ is a tech house track par excellence. Pumping beats meet an extremely groovy bassline, which is supported by an organ hookline. Together with catchy vocal snippets this track will drive the crowd on the dancefloor mad.
In his remix Oscar OZZ (Katermukke, Lordag, Supdub) reduces the original to the core. He transforms the organ loop of „ID Error“ into a hypnotic sequence which he then combines with a vocal loop and minimal beats into a nice minimal house groover.
