kfpnyx 041 kommt vom berliner dj und produzenten ones. und eröffnet die neue artwork reihe von laura meyer. stark beeinflusst von detroit techno, liefert er einen spannungsvollen und lebendigen mix, der sich darauf konzentriert, eine facette der soundwelt des von ihm und @rasval neu gegründeten vinyl-only-labels @tmntrax zum ausdruck zu bringen. das set gipfelt im letzten track der aufnahme, der teil der ersten ep der beiden sein wird, welche ende februar erscheint.

die kfpnyx mix serie beinhaltet diverse stile elektronischer musik, insbesondere zackigen sowie flächigen techno, house, electro, breakbeat und ambient. einbinden möchten wir unsere residents, freunde der crew und ausgewählte gäste.

kicking off the new artwork series by laura meyer with kfpnyx 041, recorded by berlin dj and producer ones.. juggling between the realms of detroit schooled techno he delivers a vivid and vibey mix, that is focussed on expressing a facet of the sound world of the vinyl only label tmn trax, which was newly founded by him and rasval. the mix culminates in the last track of the recording, which will be part of the first ep of the two, being released at the end of february.

the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.

hi everyone,
hoping this finds you all well.
i´d like to say something about this mix.
it´s been a very big task for me to do that. 
And i still wonder and i am not entirely sure
whether it´s been the right decision to put it out there. 
I´d like to explain that a bit:

For me the most important part in playing music in public is the interaction with the people on the dance floor, close by the decks, almost in reach, in eye contact with the dancers, to feel what the track does to me and to you, to get lost in it, to give space to that very intimate moment which feels more like a performance to me, where it actually can get very personal, even private.
It´s always an intensive experience for me that is shared between certain people at a certain time for a certain time length at a particular protected place which is guidanced by the music.
With a certain power that a good sound system - which can make 
the whole journey even more joyful - some great light as it has also such a big effect on the whole atmosphere.
it´s always a big challenge for me to have the courage to go on that trip because there is never a guarantee that we can hook, that a connection will happen. That this over the top feeling, that there is only music that moves and pulls our body around for couple of hours, does appear.

So playing records in a mix without all that – under entirely different circumstances, at home with obviously no one around – made that project in a way so special for me. 

i imagined to be with you while playing and that helped a lot. 

Thanks for taking time reading this, i hope you enjoy the music, it´s meant to be played „loud“, preferential on a nice sound system or through headphones to catch all the catchy sounds the artists used in their creations to make our heads and legs go spin.

genau heute ist der tag, an dem hot club stattfinden sollte. verschoben, aber längst nicht alles abgesagt, schon gar nicht unser widerborstige wille, queermanzipative freiheitspotentiale dank technogeballer auszuloten. den kann uns niemand nehmen. bauen wir also heute schon an einer besseren zukunft! die realitäten machen es notwendig: abbau von freiheitsrechten, das primat wirtschaftlicher über gesundheitliche interessen, geplantes app-tracking, die grenzen dicht (und dass aufs mörderischste auch im mittelmeer), soziale vereinzelung und individualisierung gemeinschaftlicher verantwortung etc etc …leicht fällt es uns dabei wirklich nicht, unseren kunterbunten regenbogen nicht – wie geplant – heute für eine wild-bewusst-abgestürzte nacht aufzuspannen. nötiger denn je wäre er: wir vermissen kontakt, nähe und berührungen, viele und zusammen zu sein, gemeinsam geiles und gutes zu tun, ausgelassen sein und die endlosigkeit zu feiern, wir und der beat, solidarisch verpeilt – unser rettungschirm, das sind wir selbst! hot club als utopie-training. das findet statt. nur ist es eben derzeit auf unbestimmt verschoben. und was machen wir inzwischen?:
