Techno legend Dave Angel drops ‘Glide’ on Radio Slave’s Rekids this January.

Dave Angel was a regular on Brixton-based pirate radio station Phase One in the late ‘80s and an integral part of the UK Techno scene ever since, remixing the likes of Underworld, Orbital, and Model 500, and founding Rotation Records in the ‘90s. Turning his sights to Radio Slave’s essential Rekids for his latest release, the iconic DJ/producer prepares a heavy duty two-tracker for the label, dropping in early 2023.

Title cut ‘Glide’ leads the release with flanged hi-hats, evolving synths, and rocking low-end combining to form a club-shaking hit. On the flip, ‘Peekaboo’ combines dub-techno-inspired chords with wonky samples and pumping drums for a warehouse-filling B-side.

The best proof is his first ever solo show at the legendary Gashouder in Amsterdam, which sold out 4000 tickets within seconds and left more than 10000 ticket requests open. Kuba Sojka’s ‘Before Life’ EP on Rekids Special Projects (RSPX) starts with 'Fundamental Structures', a superb blend of futuristic moods, warped bass, and precision drums with spiritually minded melodies swirling around its lurching groove. 'Imago' is then a lithe, colourful cut with bubbling low ends and tripped-out synth motifs next to organic percussion, making for a beautiful mental excursion that journeys into deep space before 'Metamorphis' explores ambient-laced drum & bass. Closing out Sojka’s ‘Before Life’ EP is the superb 'Void of Self' completing this varied EP with an elastic deep house groove topped with dry hits and
sugar synth work.

Kuba Sojka is a live performer, musician, and producer who draws on funk, jazz, and soul sounds. He brings an experimental edge to his music and has explored IDM, electro, future jazz, and acid under his Kuba Sojka and Psi-Acoustic projects. He has landed on labels like Mathematics, Matrix Records, International Day Off Records, and Radio Slave’s RSPX, on which he released his ‘Life’ EP in April 2024, which won support from Ben Sims, Carista, Laurent Garnier, and Elisa Bee.

UK artist Denney arrives on Radio Slave’s REK’D for the first time with ‘Promises’, landing 3rd October 2025. Following up his 2023 debut ‘Catch The Heat’ single on flagship label Rekids, ‘Promises’ features the voice of platinum-selling singer-songwriter Penny F, and is a low-slung House groover with a subtle nod to old-school, golden-age Progressive sounds. Courtesy of raw, rolling square bass, and the deep emotion evoked by Penny’s heartfelt vocals - ‘Promises’ is a late-night track to lose yourself to on dark, strobe-lit dancefloors.

"I have been working with Penny for a while on a variety of diﬀerent projects and knew as soon as I made the track her vocals would be perfect....which they are! I wanted to make a timeless House record, which I think we have managed to do nicely!" - Denney

With ‘Promises’, Denney follows up his 2023 ‘Catch The Heat’ single on Rekids, which featured a vocal from Charlotte Riby and remixes by Nic Fanciulli and Franky & Sandrino. The North England-born DJ and producer broke through with his Hot Creations hit ‘Ultraviolet’ and has since released music on labels such as Crosstown Rebels and Knee Deep In Sound, while playing at venues including fabric, DC10, and BPM Festival.

For his debut on REK’D, he teams up with Penny F, who has co-written chart-topping tracks with Lana Del Rey and collaborated with artists like William Orbit, Yousef, Ali Love, and more, with releases spanning Ministry of Sound, Toolroom, Armada, and Spinnin’ Records.

Following up his pair of cryptically luminous EPs for Northern Electronics in the past years, Evigt Mörker presents his debut album, Krona.

With a shuffling atmosphere that’s hard to pin down, the album chronically fixates on the degradation and construction of rhythmic drills with finely rendered parts and patterns. Spiralling the listener through a set of stormy soundscapes, Krona keeps placing the horizon just ahead, and just out of reach. The unease that Evigt Mörker invites us into is electrically charged and threatening to crack. For all its syncopation we are relentlessly swerving through the works, afraid of teasing an arcing static shock from the blistering commotion. The album’s propulsive tracks are settled against a pair of stunning ambient compositions that capture some of the tension from a distance. Technical dexterity and perfectly pitched intensity stakes out Evigt Mörker’s debut album as an impressive statement.

Despite sitting on the B2, "Kappa Track" brings a surge of uplifting energy to an incredibly astute yet otherwise uncompromisingly dark and hard hitting record, showcasing the versatility of Fear-E's production. It's the kind of track in which you hear at peak time that helps you regain your second wind. Ever evolving aggressive arpeggiation anchors a solid warehouse appropriate frame, descending into darker yet more familiar territory as time elapses.
