Returning with a fourth edition of his popular series first debuting in September 2020, "Fantasy, Vol. 4" opens with the effervescent "Aeon" and its driving rhythmic backdrop. Before long, beautifully evolving pads are melded with a shimmering arpeggio and emotive bassline. Waxing and waning with dancefloor ease, it is a real showcase of the Belarusian's talent. Continuing, "Galactic Voices" immediately impresses with its bouncing bassline and heavy beat. White-noise infused pads add an open feel while a delayed synth lead sits perfectly alongside the bass key changes. The result is an aptly titled track that fizzes with energy. Belying, its chunky groove, "Nightshift" is a smooth and evocative affair that lilts effortlessly along with a parallel lead line cutting through the assembled array of delays and reverbs that shine at the breakdown. Hitting its stride once more, the powerful bass groove makes its presence felt strongly in the second half. In collaboration with Seyah, "The Last Day" is meticulously crafted track that bounces along with club-friendly credentials, textured pads and meandering synth lines. Mesmeric in its construction, intermittent laser-like effects break up the dramatic and hypnotic groove.

An artist of rare repute and impressive credentials, Namito is a renowned figure with his impressive work for the likes of Balance Music, Yoshitoshi and Sol Selectas. Indeed, the Iranian born producer has seen considerable success for Sabo's US imprint with the number one single, "Stone Flower", and its 2.5 million Spotify streams. Making his Proton Music debut, the Namito remix of "Poison" is a typically impressive interpretation with its hypnotic groove and perfectly cadenced keys. Making innovative use of Michael A's original components, a delicate arpeggio trips its way across the near 7-minute piece rising and falling with ease, joined by a delightfully melancholy string passage post breakdown.

A second remix sees Martina Mozzoni and Matias Villafañe make their Proton Music debut via their Alto Astral moniker. Already seeing their music find its way onto such esteemed imprints as 3rd Avenue, Movement Recordings and Balkan Connection, the duo's work for Particles has resulted in a pair of superb remixes for Juan Deminicis and Petar Dundov. Now debuting on Proton Music, the Alto Astral rework of "Fantasy" is a highly accomplished and polished interpretation that glistens and excites with an impeccable dancefloor groove. Building with vocal flourishes, it opens-up in an entirely new direction with a new vocal phrasing added to Michael A's instrumental original. A stunning breakdown adds further loquacious vocal passages as the track drops back into its rhythmic and bass-driven groove in the final stages.

A fourth outing with magical qualities sees Michael A reach new heights through "Fantasy, Vol. 4", ably assisted by remixes from Namito and Alto Astral.

A firm favourite of the progressive and melodic house faithful, Sebastian Sellares has consistently cast a bright light on his production credentials. With of growing body of work that has seen outstanding releases for the likes of Paul Thomas' UV, Cid Inc's Replug and GMJ & Matter's Meanwhile, Sebastian's "Jinsei / Zen State" EP was a notable Proton Music highlight in October 2020, including remixes from Matias Chilano and the iconic, Nick Muir. Now returning with a second original EP, "Conviction" is founded upon a metronomic top-line and heavy beat before filtered synths subtly enter the fray. Full of wonderful sound effects and sonic character that grabs listener attention, eerie textures add to the collage before a sublime arpeggio makes its mark. Rising and falling, it reaches a powerful crescendo in the final movement. A vibrant dynamism and shimmering melody immediately provide a lighter air to "Reverse Call". Still characterised by a familiar sonic narrative, a strong arpeggio and free-flowing synth sequence adds emotion aplenty at the breakdown before a snare roll heralds the return of a mesmerising dancefloor groove and rhythmic brio.

An artist familiar artist to the underground progressive house cognoscenti, Imran Khan has consistently created a portfolio of music that contains the musical hallmarks of a talented producer. Almost 200 production credits bear witness to that success over an 8-year period. Proton Music has played its own part in showcasing the Imran Khan sound as 2019's "Organic" and "Sunsweat" EPs testify. Remixes for the likes of LADS, GMJ, Dmitry Molosh, and Petar Dundov in late 2021 are now joined by a typically atmospheric interpretation of "Conviction". Incorporating the atmospheric textures and soundscapes of the original, Imran has turned them into a hypnotic rolling dancefloor groove that scintillates with its delayed arps and beautifully crafted counterpoint keys that drift across the breakdown landscape. The resultant combination of rhythm and melody is a tribute to the UK producer's sublime technique and innate production talent.

Subconscious Tales has always revelled in music that comes from ‘carefully crafted compositions that embrace the energy of darkness and beauty.' Able to translate this mission statement in a double century of releases, the Latvian producer has been a Proton Music regular with such standout moments as 2019's "Magnectares", 2020's "Soulreaper" and April 2022's "Experience" EPs. A portfolio bookended by remixes for David Calo in 2017 and Dabeat in mid-2022, Subconscious Tales now returns with a beautifully crafted interpretation of "Conviction" that bristles with energy and hi-hat urgency. Crafting a huge bassline groove, a familiar arpeggio from Sebastian Sellares' track makes its presence felt, building in imperceptible fizzing energy. Adding to the original, a swathe of new production material and sympathetic new melodies are grafted to original components in seamless fashion to create a majestic and powerful new remix.

Hailing from the rhythmic landscapes of Colombo, Sri Lanka, CHIRUKA has emerged as a dynamic force in the electronic music scene. With an innate passion for beats and an unwavering dedication to his craft, Chiruka has captivated audiences far and wide with his infectious energy and eclectic sound.

Drawing inspiration from diverse musical influences, Chiruka effortlessly traverses the realms of house and progressive sounds, it is then that himself and 3 other colleagues found the label "Time After Time".

This 2 track EP sets tone to the many releases he's been working on and effort put-in the studio.

1. "Last Eclipse":
"Last Eclipse" takes you on a journey through pulsating rhythms and ethereal melodies. The track builds up gradually, intertwining deep basslines with haunting synth layers, creating an atmosphere of anticipation. As the beats evolve, the tension rises, leading to a climactic moment where the melodic elements shine.

2. "Edges of Nirvana":
"Edges of Nirvana" is a mesmerizing composition that blends intricate percussion patterns with lush harmonies. The track seamlessly combines hypnotic synth arpeggios and a driving groove that keeps the energy flowing. As the layers unfold, ethereal pads and evocative melodies emerge, inviting the listener to immerse themselves in a state of musical bliss.

PREMIERE: CHIRUKA - Edges of Nirvana [Time After Time]

Madloch's Sound Avenue opens the month of December by showcasing new interpretations of about : river's '24 Years' album. Released in October of 2022, the Estonia duo's debut long player was received amidst much praise. The twelve-track opus proved to be a crowning achievement for about : river, a father and son production team who had built their reputation on borderless creations that were not only club-effective, but never failed to tell a compelling story. Now approaching a three-year creative partnership with Sound Avenue, about : river has continued to further their bond with the label across 2023, remixing Jean Caillou's 'There' and most recently Madloch and Subnode's 'Club Del Ocio'; an ode to the uniquely designed Argentinean club. Looking to put a resounding cap on what has been another memorable year for about : river, Sound Avenue invites Rockka, Dunardry and Mars Monero to re-imagine '24 Years' in their own unique essence.
