Musique de Lune opens the summer season by welcoming Andre Moret back to the label for a new single. As one of Brazil's most highly regarded progressive house artists, Andre has achieved many successes across his six year career. World class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been regular supporters, while his inimitable productions have found a home on Clubsonica, Mango Alley, Plattenbank and The Soundgarden, amongst others. Musique de Lune has also been a landing spot for Andre, with his label debut coming in 2022 with a contribution to the 'Rayons De Lune' collection, a release which served as the imprint's inaugural offering. Now returning for his first single, Andre unveils his latest studio creation 'Endless Line', alongside remixes from Andres Moris and Foletto & Victor Arruda.

One of progressive music's brightest hopefuls Andres Moris provides the first remix following an epic rendition of '1999' by Cloaked, released just last week via Juicebox Music. Some of Andres' recent work has been getting played by Guy J and it's not hard to see why. The Cordoba resident always seems to create something that knows exactly when to either push or lay off the gas, a true sign of a producer coming into his own. For his 'Endless Line' interpretation Andres expands on the emotional aspect of the Original with a deeper, more eloquent rendition that uses plush chords, cascading keys and a balmy atmospheric disposition that is positively glowing.

Bizarrement, l’histoire démarre il y a plus d’un an quand Fabien Reyal, chirurgien à l’institut Curie Université de Paris et fan de Radio Meuh, m’envoie un message pour me faire part des bienfaits de la sélection musicale de la Meuh pendant son travail au bloc. 
Rapidement, nous nous lions d’amitié et après quelques échanges, une folle idée se met à germer dans nos têtes de doux rêveurs : Pourquoi ne pas réfléchir à une collaboration afin d’utiliser la musique dans le parcours de soins ou de gestion des humeurs des patients ?

Vu la complexité du chalenge, notre idée de collaboration aurait pu en rester là… mais les choses ont pris un tout autre tournant dimanche dernier, après un de ses messages : 

« Dis-moi, vu la situation, ce serait peut-être le moment de faire des sessions pour les soignants du monde entier non ?»  

Mesurant la responsabilité délicate de cette tâche vu la période, je décide d’en toucher deux mots à Laurent Garnier (Laurent est souvent de bon conseil dans ces moments-là!). Emu par l’idée, il pense tout haut et émet de suite l’idée d’une sélection musicale autour de la thématique du remerciement....

« En cette période si complexe, on se doit de parler aux personnes qui risquent chaque jour leurs vies pour nous. Leur dire MERCI en musique, c’est la moindre des choses que nous puissions faire mon Philou ! ».

Laurent planche le truc plusieurs heures pour m’envoyer cette sélection où chacun des titres choisi dit simplement merci… Merci, Merci, Merci du fond du cœur.

A travers cette lettre musicale qui s’adresse aux soignants et plus généralement à toutes les personnes qui se battent pour nous en cette période si difficile, nous désirons donc partager - à notre petite échelle de passionnés de musiques - une bande son pour leur dire MERCI.

Nous nous doutons bien que la période n’est pour eux pas propice à écouter de la musique. Nous espérons néanmoins que cette playlist puisse leur apporter un petit moment de déconnexion, histoire de retrouver un peu de douceur et de sérénité...

The idea of this podcast came when Fabien Reyal (surgeon at Curie Institute in Paris) regular Radio Meuh listener, sent me a text to tell me how music and mainly Radio Meuh is important for caregivers and patients.
I called Laurent Garnier. He was touched by the idea and started thinking loudly about different music talking about gratitude…
