Shel found this moving song written by Sarah Hart & Chapin Hartford when we were struggling to find an appropriate song for a Memorial Day Service.  Released as a single by Amy Grant in 2010, it was nominated for a Grammy, and got to #8 on the Christian airplay charts.  It touched our hearts, and we like to share it often.  
We were not paid for this performance, which was Jan 12, 2020 at a local low-income senior living facility.

A SONG FOR LOVE

This is my first song from my up & coming album of cover songs called "Self Portrait". This classic was written in 1923 by Gerswhin and has been interpreted by thousands of artists. In my version I've tried to remain true to the original spirit and structure of the song and at the same time adding my own personality and feelings.

Hello Soundcloud, thanks for the Listens, Likes and Support. Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
