A message from Erika: 

"2011 was the year that No Way Back got shut down by the police at the Bo House, just after midnight, as it was beginning. The next morning I opened the Made in Detroit stage at Movement, feeling very emotional, we were all super upset about how everything had gone down just a few hours prior. Derek Plaslaiko was there from before the first record, and everyone else trickled in – in just as crazy a head space as I was. As I saw each friend appear in the audience, I played a record just for them, so the set became a string of dedications to the people of the No Way Back that never was."

With 20+ years on the decks under his belt, CK is officially a grizzled veteran of the Los Angeles scene.

He has been throwing parties in various capacities since 2009, beginning with The Gold Line and featuring such acts as DVS1, Cell Injection, Raiz, Worthy and Filthy Rich. CK and his partner Danielsan brought DVS1 back in partnership with Incognito, which was also the collaboration behind a legendary 2014 show in LA with Freerange boss Jimpster at the helm. 

As a part of the Dirty Epic Productions team responsible for bringing Speedy J and Regis to Denver, AtomTM & Tobias, Move D & Jonah Sharp, Romans, Derek Plaslaiko & Mike Servito and a host of others to The Works for an official Movement closing party in Detroit as well Kyle Geiger/Carlos Souffront to Los Angeles ahead Regis in New York, Headless Horseman's LA debut, and a monster double header at Lot 613 for the Prototype series featuring AtomTM & Tobias and Voices from the Lake on the same ticket, CK is no stranger to the dank interior of a warehouse.

Currently on hiatus from the business side, CK continues to hone his producing skills while staying true to his first and most cherished passion: mixing.
