Puzzles Of The Mind

My second track of 2024 - a mix of Blade Runner and my musical influences, which explain the name: Electric Dreams. I love the synth sounds produced by Vangelis and I tried to add a groovy element to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Electric Dreams

Danger is Strip's sister track. Spicier, heavier, sexier, a little bit more melancholic. Again, something I made for someone I love very much and who now happens to be my wife. So much happened since Strip, including you and I getting reunited. You know who you are and I love you.

Danger is also about the two extremes of our mind. The little devil and the little angel, the sadness and the happiness, the anger and the fun. As always, the darker side sounds very sexy, the allure of our saboteur is sometimes too good to refuse, but here we are, fighting it and trying to free ourselves from that dangerous, inner voice that keeps telling us bad things. This is what Danger is truly about.

Presence (first, short, version)

I wanted to make something different, so I did. The Rising Sun is heavily inspired in cinema scores and a homage to eastern scales, chords and music in general. It is supposed to feel more cinematic, dramatic and the retrowave intro is just there to deceive you hahaha. It is the first of the a two part song. This one is about the rise of civilization, exploration and thriving. You can imagine what the second one is about.

The Rising Sun

The Playing Fields Of England by These Guitars Say Sorry critiques the glorification of war and questions the romanticized ideals of heroism often associated with it. The song emphasizes the sacrifices made by ordinary soldiers and challenges the notion that war is something to be celebrated or revered.  These Guitars Say Sorry's  folk-inspired songwriting style, is accompanied by his percussive acoustic guitar playing acting as the perfect backdrop for the song's post punk lyrics.

It has been one year since I started making music. My god has it been a ride. Thank you to everyone for listening to my tracks.

 At a mesmerizing 165 bpm, the track weaves a tapestry of chill-out IDM vibes, propelled by the soulful lament of a saxophone. Imagine traversing an otherworldly desert, the sun casting elongated shadows across undulating dunes. Each beat echoes the footsteps of a lone runner, their breath syncing with the cosmic rhythm. The saxophone, like a celestial guide, dances between melancholy and hope, painting a sonic landscape of solitude and wonder. As the sun sets, the runner’s journey unfolds—a symphony of mystery!

Hi, I'm an amateur Piano player called Tom! This is two halves but together hence the name!

I have had no piano lessons and can't read music, just make pieces through sitting down and putting two and two together.

It took me a long time to share music I'd made and I really appreciate everyone and like, comments, reposts much appreciated and any advice too.

The Falling Sun is the continuation to The Rising Sun. The Sun pieces chronicle the history of mankind, from its beginning and maturity, to its possible fall. 

The sun is setting, but not the way you think so.
