We have the best friends! We were blessed to have a gathering of dear friends and soul family who we put to work all day, and then made to dance all night celebrating the one and only @Cacadora!  it was an absolute blast, I am so grateful to everyone for their generous contributions of time and energy - we have the best friends!

This is a recording of the set I played; techno, dembow, ukg, progressive, trance and breaks inspired multi-gerne mash-up - which I've been told is not "all-over-the-place" ;)

MATTERSON (Jellyfish Crew, Left Coast Crew) 

After being inspired by the countless local events featuring local and international DJ's, Matterson decided to take up the craft himself. Starting with the electro craze of the late '00 era, he first played parties for Sonica Late Nights and Westcoast Funktions where he learned much about the craft. As time moved forward, he started contributing to local burn community events, growing into a more mature house sound in the process. Today he is one of the founding members of the Jellyfish Crew, providing quality events on Vancouver Island.  Funky, Deep and Tech areas of House showcase his ever increasing development.

Caçadora (Ca-sa-dor-a)  

Caçadora resonates with warm, earthy Bass and soulful soundwaves. 
Her musical tastes are flavoured with roots rhythms and groovy basslines. A versatile selectah, with favoured genres ranging from liquid drum and bass, halftime, to garage, tech house, progressive house and techno. Whatever the genre or tempo she keeps it smooth and spicy with a sound that is distinctly Caçadora. 

An active mainstay on the west coast electronic music scene, Caçadora has performed at shows through Western Canada and the US with festivals including Shambhala Festival, What The Festival, Luminosity Festival, Diversity Festival, Otherworld, Wonderment and Inshala Festival. You'll catch her most frequently performing in and around her current hometown, Victoria BC.
