Paul Simon lyrics are instantly recognizable & simply unmatched...especially evident in this song. Good job....your sound always takes me to jamming in the basement, or the garage....

Well I almost scrapped this song but after 3 weeks writing words, and then realizing how fun it is to sing, i kept it. I'm trying to figure out how to add a little lightheartedness to my music, but i think this one just turned out creepy lol. NOTE:  I always felt a little uncomfortable with the words, i just really didn't like them, so I reworked the chorus and a few other lines, and rerecorded the vocals. It seems a little better now...

A cover of a "Myth of the Fingerprints"  written by Paul Simon ...  last song on his album “Graceland".  One of my favorite albums .  Loved the melding of Paul and all those amazing artists .  I remember many hours listening, mesmerized by exotic rhythms and music seldom heard in my younger central Indiana days.

it’s a big mess, got a hole in my chest, taken down and crushed like apples in a press, i confess to everything i’ve ever done. every single one of us… on the run.

when minds are quiet, the stink of revolution floats in the air, and the overlords they waste away in deep despair… slippin in the deep end not so quietly. fantastic sights!!

Like all here , I’m just trying to leave an echo !   Just trying to say I was here .  How lucky are we to live in an age when that is possible ?

reverend coldheart records with : mike shea, guitar whiz and sound designer, usually at his studio ;  mike hogan, who is a gifted bass player, usually in my kitchen ; joe ferguson, who is the original congregation and who started all this out with a christmas uke  ~   It's his fault !

Also, I’ve been jamming with Jarod, Tek, Gary and Shelbie on Sundays in a little white house out past Stilesville. We record under the name “makebelieve”. Hope to post some jams every now and then .

Since October 2023, Sunday jams with Gman and Reggie.  We record under name of:   “the charlatans”.  Or lately, the Sunday Jam Gentlemen.
