What would  life be like without music? Flat; colourless; unbearable.
Piano keys reached out for me at age five and have embraced me tight ever since. I began playing publicly in my teens way back when. In more recent years, life pushed me to the proverbial edge and songwriting caught me on the way down. Life is certainly not flat or colourless and in writing songs, I hope to do my part to make it more than just bearable for us all.
But here’s a question…why do lyrics whisper most loudly at 1 a.m.?!?

Based in Glastonbury, England, singer-songwriter Mandy Woods writes and performs songs of heartbreak, hope and humour that have a transatlantic flavour reflecting a decade of living, writing and performing in Austin, Texas. Steve Andrews is an eclectic singer-songwriter from Cardiff in Wales but now based in Portugal. He is often compared with Neil Young. Also known as the Bard of Ely and Green Bard, he has a green beard. He has performed at the Green Man and Glastonbury Festivals, and was an MC at both events as well. 
He has been called a "Welsh icon" and is listed in Wikipedia as a "famous Cardiffian," and listed along with Shakin' Stevens as a "notable person from Ely."
His song You're a Liar, Nicky Wire was produced by Phil Moxham of The Young Marble Giants and fronted the Taffia EP on Crai Records. It was rave reviewed by the NME.
Recently Andrews has worked with Jayce Lewis as his producer at Northstone Studios. The two musicians created an album of 10 songs entitled Songs of the Now and Then. It is available on bandcamp.
Andrews successfully auditioned for Britain's Got Talent and was featured on the televised show.
