Born and raised in beautiful British Columbia, Ricky business grew up with a love of skateboarding and music. Heavily influenced by Hip-Hop and skate culture he has always been well versed in all music from the underground, past and future. He pours all his love and influence into his DJing, rocking everything from clubs to festivals. Ricky Business has become a house-hold name in the north and beyond. He has played alongside artists including Craze, Grandtheft, Smalltown DJ's, Skratch Bastid, Dj Numark,Thugli, Brillz, Keys and Krates and many more.

Bio:
A true creative, Ricco finds inspiration in music by exploring sounds through DJing and producing. Ricco is a passionate house music enthusiast with a focus on funky, deep, and rhythm-rich sounds that blend Latin, Tech and Afro influences. With almost 3 decades of djing under his belt, Ricco has held a handful of residencies in Vancouver, including Goodhousekeeping at Fortune Sound Club, La Discotech at Modern, Fast Life at Republic and Lotus Sound Lounge. Major Festival appearances include Basscoast Festival, Shambhala Music Festival and Valhalla Music Festival. Additionally, ricco has also played at some of Vancouver’s most notable music venues such as Beaumont Studios, Gorg-O-Mish, Open Studios, and the internationally acclaimed Commodore Ballroom. 

Direct support includes a laundry list of international acts such as Gene Farris, Claptone, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Sebastien Leger, Sandy Rivera, Justin Jay, Dennis Ferrer, Zombie Disco Squad, Metro Area, Cut Chemist, 
 Ardalan, Dam Swindle, J.Phlip, The Greenskeepers, Pillow Talk, Johnny Fiasco, Fashmob, DJ ILLO, The Funk Hunters, Jesse Bru, DJ Heather, Tony 
 Quattro, DJ Spider and Lawnchair Generals. 

Recently, Ricco has dipped his toes into producing, having produced, remixed and collaborated on over a dozen releases since his production journey began 2020. 

As comfortable behind the decks as he is behind the scenes, Ricco is actively involved in the music scene through event curation under the JK Gaultier brand, hosting Goodhousekeeping Radio on Bside Radio, a monthly residency (Cue Club at the Fox Cabaret), the JKG Mix Series, stage curating for Valhalla Music Festival and a committee member for the Junos Awards Underground Dance Single of the Year. 

The joy of seeing people from all walks of life on his dance floors is what keeps Ricco motivated; making someone’s day better through music, song and dance.

Having worked with elite artists and organizations globally including 1970s synth pioneer Suzanne Cianni and Berlin’s AI music authority ‘Kling Klang Klong’ has secured his status as a global contender in the world of electronic music.

Following a successful 2022 featuring the BOLT EP launch, tour dates spanning the US, Mexico and Canada plus HomeSick’s debut on legendary streaming platform Boiler Room, he returns to festival season 2023 full of new inspiration following a move from Western to Eastern Canada and celebrating a decade since his debut.

London-based Chilean DJ and producer DJ Raff crafts lysergic, low-slung dance music, lacing together samples from across the Afro-Latin diaspora into a heady mix of percussive patterns and hypnotic melodies. With support from Gilles Peterson and Tom Ravenscroft among others, DJ Raff has established himself as one of the most prolific producers on the scene. He describes himself as a relator - or sonic storyteller - speaking in a “musical language” of kaleidoscopic rhythms and atmospheric instrumental moods that draw on myriad influences from the Andean regions of Chile, Peru, Bolivia and beyond.
