Starting as a label that served basically as a platform for their friends’ music in 2010, Uncanny Valley evolved into a record label that assembles acclaimed artists from the electronic music scene not only from the label’s base in Dresden but also from Germany and beyond. With a strong emphasis on the records’ artwork the label heads Philipp Demankowski, Conrad Kaden and Carl-Johannes Schulze are constantly on a mission to establish and refine the artists from the roster as well as to search for new talents. Artists as Jacob Korn, Cuthead, Credit 00, Massimiliano Pagliara, CVBox or Panthera Krause all feel at home on the label, giving them the chance to develop projects that are not only music related but can also integrate different art forms. With the two offshoots Rat Life and shtum under its belt, Uncanny Valley does not stand still to explore the full spectrum of electronic and not so electronic music from House via Disco, Hip-Hop or Ambient through to Techno. A range that can also be depicted when the three label heads come together for a DJ set as Uncanny Valley DJs.

Passionate and fascinated by music from an early age, Amsterdam born DJ and Producer Max Vermeulen, 23, never shies away from creating innovative Electronic Dance and Pop Music in an ever growing saturated market. Recognizable by his emotional harmonics and melodic touch. The 23 year old has a keen eye on combining different genres and writing astonishing chord progressions to create his inimitable sound and style of electronic music. 

He's one of today’s most releasing independent Dutch artists with multiply artist projects known as ‘Max Vermeulen, Twofacts & MXVM’. With over 30 million streams combined and support by the likes of Martin Garrix, Kygo, Yellow Claw, Sam Feldt, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and more support from international radio stations like BBC Radio, Kiss FM! and SLAMFM!. This is just the start of his career.

Max Vermeulen`s story of success continues in 2022. In February, he signed a publishing deal with DJ & Producer Sam Feldt to his imprint ‘Heartfeldt' in cooperation with CTM Entertainment. In addition the musical saga continues with releases on NoCopyright Sounds, Heartfeldt Records, One Seven Music, Lilly Era and many more. 

All taken into account Max is one of the most prolific and diverse producers with his own style and sound and has yet created a legacy for himself in the music industry. With many more music and projects to come in 2022. He truly secured his well-earned spot in the music industry, and isn’t planning on leaving any time soon

Be Yourself Music is a Dutch music label founded in 2005. The label has made a significant impact in the electronic dance music industry, working with some of the biggest names in the scene.

Over the years, Be Yourself Music has become known for its ability to spot and develop new talent. Working and having worked with successful artists, like: Bakermat, Brennan Heart, Rank 1, Sefa, Lulleaux, Headhunterz, Melsen, Marco V, Wildstylez, Tinlicker, R3hab, Fedde le Grand, Nicky Romero, Dada Life, and many others.

In 2023, the label has seen several recent successes. One of the biggest achievements is reaching the iconic milestone of 1.5 BILLION streams globally with the single “Empty Love” by Lulleaux.
