@johnny-minstrel: Awwww, Man, thanks so much, Prav. Likewise, as well, My Friend. And, I mean that not just in some reciprocal way either. Do you also find that doing covers and creatively interpreting them helps with Originals, too? Just curious. Helps me to push outside of my comfort zone, even though I occasionally produce a clunker here and there. Don't ever mean to do that, but seems a great way to expand horizons and not just fall into the same routine. I learn something from every song I attempt, even the ones that are often the biggest 'mistakes', too. Of course, I do try to revise or delete the really, really bad ones!!! :-) LOL

Dedicated to some folks in my life who've picked me up along the way, especially through music...

This is one I'm pretty proud of.  Oddly, it's the first time I’ve written a full original song with me singing my own lyrics. I'm joined by the uber talented @TexMex-Shaman, who is wielding the lead electric guitar starting at the first verse through to the end. (this is the second time now where my vocal melody is partly inspired by his magical playing!) He also lends his mastering skillz to great effect here. Thanks TMS for truly bringing this to life with your playing! 
All other instruments are played by me on the keyboard - acoustic guitar, bass, organ, Wurlitzer electric piano, 2nd electric guitar (the higher one in verse 2), horns, drums & percussion, words and voice. The chorus is supposed to sound like a 60's soul song, like Marvin Gaye meets Van Morrison. 
If you play this more than once I'm sorry but I'm afraid you'll be stuck with it in your head all day.  :)

This one's a personal one for me, so thanks for listening, and for picking us up with your music!

This song began with Artur inviting Josh onto a project that he and Hakan had just started that consisted of the beat and a synth line—the one that opens the song—supplied by Hakan. Josh added his five string fretless bass to it first, coming up with an idea of how it could sound. Then, Josh asked Tez to get in on it, too, because Tez not only has an affinity for the genre, but an aptitude for it, as well. After Tez laid down his hot guitar, Josh went back and played his idea, but accounted for Tez's jamming, too, this time. After the basic tracks were done, Artur brought his vibrato/delay guitar magic to the jam, too. Then, Josh added the various synth voices that you hear throughout. ​
  Every great song needs a great producer, and Tez was the man for this job. He brought it all together and used our various parts like a conductor uses different parts of a symphony. This is the fist song that Tez and Josh have done with Hakan. Artur and he are musical partners, so if you dig this song, you would probably like what's on their pages, too. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

An Original right from the very Heart and Soul of this Panhandle Poet and One Man Band.... Reflecting upon blissful times past when our Family would bask in the warmth of a comforting Campfire on gorgeous, chill Wisconsin Autumn Evenings. Actually, they jokingly referred to the campfires I built as more like raging Viking Funeral Pyres or Bonfires, but anyway.... Splendid, Loving Memories for sure. :D))) On occasion, songwriters hear a song in their head and feel it so deeply within their hearts, before even attempting to create or capture it somehow. This tune almost ran over me. Couldn't create a click track fast enough using BIAB, and then played along with my Martin Acoustic 000, and flavored it a little in the background with the Godin Electric. Hope it's enjoyed? Note to Self:  Build another Campfire soon on a Beach nearby!
