JW Paris is a 90’s grunge Britpop inspired three-piece featuring Gemma Clarke, Danny Collins and Aaron Forde. 

JW Paris's new single Electric Candle Light (ECL) is a futuristic-analogue-nostalgia fuelled track all about those nights where you seem to fall into a time-lapse and wish for those past better days. 

Electric Candle Light which came out on 25th March has been featured with nationwide radio play on Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1), John Kennedy (Radio X), Frankie (Amazing Radio UK & USA) and has made it onto the Radio X playlist for x2 weeks straight. JW Paris was featured on the ‘New In Rock’ Apple Music playlist, a single of the day’ with This Feeling and has seen over 20+ indie blogger reviews. 

JW Paris has been described as sounding like ‘Joy Division’ and ‘where gritty meets swaggery’, by Chris Hawkins (6 Music) and ‘face-melting riff’s by Jack Saunders (Radio 1)

2022 looks to be an interstellar year for the trio with an 11 date UK Tour which started in February supporting Leave the Capital and then hitting the road as main support for The Skinner Brothers. JW Paris will continue hitting the road on the UK festival circuit this summer with slots at FOCUS Wales, Great Escape and Truck Festival.

With their debut album finished and ready for release at the end of the year, keep your ears alert for the next exciting singles due this summer. 

The Story

JW Paris sound has been developing from birth, with Aaron (Vocals/Bass) and Danny (Vocals/Guitar) knowing each other like brothers, as their Dad’s were in the band Choke throughout the 90’s who were signed to EMI. Aaron and Danny have gone from forming their sound in a 24-hour storage lock-up (then being kicked out) to anywhere now in London that will let them play loud. JW Paris have been taken even more forward with the arrival of Gemma behind the drums (Babyshambles)

Laptop rock duo formed on a Megabus in Spring 2019...

Bedford-based five piece Carbon Daydreams write their own brand of melodic, high-tempo indie music, featuring infectious guitar hooks and disco-inspired rhythms to get you dancing. Formed during the summer of 2021, the band have steadily built a local following through support slots at local venues such as Bedford Esquires and The Craufurd Arms, and summer festivals. Having released their debut EP Harbour Nights in 2023, the band are currently writing their second EP which promises to unhesitatingly push the best elements of their unique sound in new directions.

Lia Rye is a 20 year old Leeds based alternative rock artist. Her melodic vocals, insightful storytelling and blasting riffs captivate listeners and audiences alike. Having released her debut single “Novacaine” aged 15, the BRIT School alumna has plenty of "ambition to burn” (Fizzy Mag).

With the formation of a new band, Rye has expanded her musical soundscape and deepened her love for live music. During 2023, Rye and her band explored the Leeds gig circuit. With electrifying performances at venues such as Stylus, Hyde Park Book Club, Lending Room and Northern Guitars under her belt, Lia Rye is taking the next steps in her sonic journey in 2024.

Her vibrant energy and flamboyant stage presence recently led her to perform in the USA at Seattle’s renowned Freakout Festival, a staple of the punk world with a bill shared with Lydia Lunch. In October 2024, she also had the honor of being introduced on stage by Luke Spiller, frontman extraordinaire of The Struts, at the iconic Roundhouse in Camden.
