This recording was done with a LOM Geofón at Tystigbreen glacier in Stryn, Norway. I simply buried the Geofón in the snow hoping for the best. Turned out to be a great recording, although I had to push the gain quite a bit in post. In the beginning there’s a snowcat passing 300 meters away, and towards the end an airplane can be heard. These are reference sounds I left in the recording. Quite a lot of thuds from the moving glacier is heard during the recording.

The last few mornings it's been very foggy around here, and I was thinking about a recording, I did a while back at the transformer station a little ways from my house. I experienced heavy buzzing through the air from the wires, and high energy inside the mast on a damp and foggy day, much like the ones we have now. I wanted to listen to the sounds inside the masts with the LOM Geofon and also record the electro magnetic radiation with a LOM Priezor at the same time... You can hear a low rumble I believe is the current running through the wires and fog condensing into drops hitting the thinner zigzag beams of the mast as they fall...
It's kinda mellow and quiet in a strange way
I havn't processed the audio apart from adjusting gain to balance the two tracks - the track ends abruptly cause my bag fell and took the Geofon with it in the fall...

The recordings contain a mixed version of an omni stereo recording and aquarian hydrophone in contactmic modus registrated with a Zoom F6 recorder and a diy piëzo stereo contact mic connected to an Olympus LS-11 recorder. The other 3 tracks are de separated recordings.
