“Cog Zombies” is a quirky, synth-driven retro-style track that explores the blurry line between humans and machines in a world increasingly shaped by automation and artificial intelligence.

Andreas (@APi_ZZ) and I collabed musically to create this track, the second one in a planned new album called Tribe. 

My chanting of the Sanskrit mantra is to Mahakala, the same Vajrayana Buddhist deity Mahagali addressed in the female's Mongolian song. It is a powerful mantra for purification and energy cleansing - "banishing demons" as they used to call it. 

We used a morin khuur (horsehair fiddle) and a specific kind of Mongolian throat singing called hooliin chor meaning 'throat harmony'.
