The Lab Rats are a blues quartet located in Vancouver , BC. fronted by the infamous : Huggybear Leonard... harmonica , ukulele and vocals B , Double D (guitar) Martin Eade (drums)   Pat Darcus, and Michael Graham  on  bass . We vary from electric to acoustic... The blues is a transformational music raw , real and ever changing within it's surroundings and individuality. A lot of rock bands that I listen to were blues based bands. 
Harmonica is my instrument of choice . The sound of harmonica was something I could not ignore . I felt there was no other instrument that sounded like it and you could play it anywhere . Those early field workers we're true blues harp pioneers yelling and cursing the work horses in metaphor to their unjust owners.

Carlos Elliot is a band collectively aligned with artists from different cultures, sharing a message of union in community, and universal love. They’ve been called pioneers of Hill Country Blues in Latin America, one of the outstanding artists of the new electric blues and alternative scene in the world. Hailing from Colombia and United States, this crew is constantly creating, touring, inspiring, and supporting causes aligned with their vision.

They've been bringing this multi-dimensional experience to audiences in 16 countries throughout Europe, Asia, and America. Their music mixes raw blues of Mississippi with a tribal native American flavor, some dirty blues Rock, traditional Colombian, among other rhythms.  For the past 12 years they’ve regularly performed with legendary Delta and Hill Country masters, right in the cradle of Blues, Mississippi.

Since 2013 Carlos Elliot, along with producer Bobby Gentilo, have released 4 albums and several audiovisual pieces, achieving prominent positions on TV and radio charts. Their 5th album “SoulBoogie”, includes drummer Eduardo “Littlebeast” Oviedo, will be released June 2023 under the RCR label, in USA. Currently preparing the #SoulBoogieTour23/24 around the globe, and into your hood!

Robert Connely Farr grew up in the small southern town of Bolton, Mississippi, home of Charley Patton, Sam Chatmon, Bo Carter & Walter Vinson. He has been mentored in the Bentonia Style of the Delta Blues by Jimmy “Duck” Holmes since 2017. His 2019 release Dirty South Blues was met with widespread critical acclaim, including being named by KEXP’s Greg Vandy Top Albums of 2019 & earning Farr nominations at Canada's prestigious Maple Blues Awards for Songwriter of the Year & New Artist of the Year. He currently resides in Vancouver, BC but when he's home in Mississippi, he can be found at Jimmy "Duck" Holmes' historic juke joint - the Blue Front Cafe.
