A new piece written for my new album "Never Enough". and tries to capture feelings of  Joy, happiness, wonder, peace, blessing, fragility, hopefulness, truth, vulnerability, naivety, yearning, searching, love, passion, strength, gratitude.

We Never Knew

Taken from the album Edge of Time this is a sample track from Robert Steven Hunt's second studio album released 21st March 2020.
From the first track on the album we get a flavour of the composer’s capabilities with the Out of Time theme, which was inspired by the TV Pilot Unbelievers.  Its title can be interpreted on several levels: humanity running out of time, the planet running out of time (echoed in the album cover design), also the composition’s complicated time signature and rhythm! 
This track features the wonderful Remix Jazz Orchestra directed by Stuart Henderson.

Out Of Time (2020)

Taken from the album Edge of Time this is a sample track from Robert Steven Hunt's second studio album released 21st March 2020.
All Jazzed Up began life as background music for a crucial early scene in the Unbelievers TV Pilot Miniseries produced by Sheep Free Productions; on the album, a live twelve-piece Jazz Orchestra transforms the music into a Big Band number, giving it that true nineteen-forties vibe! This track features the wonderful Remix Jazz Orchestra directed by Stuart Henderson.

Samantha's Theme was inspired by the "Unbelievers" TV Pilot Mini Series created by Sheep Free Productions based in the UK. Samantha is a character in the TV series with a complex story line infused with tragedy, pain, anger and frustration with her life. The track may evoke the complexity of issues faced by many people throughout their life - or you can simply choose your own interpretation of the composition and what it means to you! Shifting Sands is a piano composition with orchestral backing, the style of music that you may be more familiar with from Robert Steven Hunt’s earlier creations. This extract has been taken from the album Edge of Time and echos the theme of the album, of how important time is within our lives!  The ‘Shifting Sands’ of our life may drift, as we journey through our daily lives encountering all the issues that we have to deal with.  A beautiful theme that transports you to another world and is a welcome distraction from the woes of the world. Stunning violin performed by the wonderful Caroline Clack.

Only Time Will Tell (2020)

Armageddon was originally published and released in 2011 as the first part of an orchestral suite designed to consist of three sections. The second part "Comes a Mighty King" was also published in 2011 but the final section Edge of Time was finally composed and released in 2020. This is an extract from the orchestral version of Armageddon released in March 2020 as part of the Edge of Time studio album.

Armageddon, is an orchestral music score in multiple sections, this is the opening first movement. The composition reflects the theme of Armageddon (inspired from the book of Revelation in the Bible), it is a strong, loud, and very powerful track. It could easily be used as an epic soundscape or theme for a battle scene in a movie. As a composer it is my dream to one day hear the whole musical suite played by a full symphony orchestra. Until that glorious day I will have to wait patiently and listen to this amazing studio version. If there are any aspiring conductors or orchestras who might be will to play a completely new and original piece of music, then please feel free to contact me. Edge Of Time, Part I (2020)

River of Life, Edge of Time part 11 is the concluding part of an orchestral suite designed to consist of three sections. Armageddon (2020) is the first section of this epic orchestral suite and the second is Comes A Mighty King (2020). Versions of part one and two were originally composed in 2011. The final section, River of Life and Edge of Time Part 11 (the title track from the album) was composed in the recording studio and released in 2020.

This is an extract from the orchestral suite River of Life, Edge of Time, Part 11, released in March 2020 as part of the new studio album Edge Of Time by English composer Robert Steven Hunt.

It may be of interest to the listener and follower that the River of Life theme, at the beginning of this section, was originally composed when I was a teenager (around the age of 14) and has waited 50 years to be finally published! That's perseverance and persistence!

River Of Life, Edge Of Time Part II (2020)

Hi, my name is Robert Steven Hunt. Born in the mid 1950's in Surrey (England). I now live in Berkshire. I worked as a teacher in a Secondary School for over 20 years and as a project worker at a day centre for physically disabled adults for 17 years. I was made redundant in July 2020 as a result of the Covid pandemic. I am now retired and have begun a new season in my life, having more time to be creative and compose music. 

Composing music has always been a large part of my life, principally as a hobby or a way of entertaining myself. Following a successful session, where I played some of my music to a few friends whilst on holiday, I decided to share my musical compositions with a much wider audience on the worldwide web. My ambition would be one day to hear in reality the orchestral version I hear in my head when I compose, as none of this music is written down. I currently use a Roland Fantom G6 keyboard in Church Worship and I used to play a Yamaha PSR 5700 at the Cascade drama club in Farnham, Surrey (where some of the original music compositions began life during various performances). The tracks on this site are extracts from full length compositions. I hope that you like listening to them, enjoy and have fun.

My main music website is on reverbnation.com where the bulk of my followers and fans are. I have recently upgraded my equipment to a Roland Fantom G6 Keyboard which has begun to open up a whole new world for me musically. My latest composition "I Think I'm in Love with You" was recorded as a song at Clear Sky Studio in Reading (UK). Other piano compositions are being developed and will be uploaded as soon as they are completed.

September 2013 saw the beginning of my biggest and most adventurous project to date, the recording of my debut album. Nine completely new studio recordings of my most popular original compositions were made using a Steinway sampler, over the next six months professional orchestrations were added to the album by Chris Mitchell in his studios in Reading (UK). The debut album "EAGLE MOUNTAIN" was released as a download on all major retail sites world-wide from 1st March 2014. A CD version of the debut album was also released in April 2014 (with higher quality sound) but is only available directly through the composer (via email or social media contact). The debut album "Eagle Mountain" has taken the music up to a completely different level. New music tracks and my second album are on their way in 2018, which feature compositions that were inspired by a recent project that I was involved in, the making of a Television Pilot called "Unbelievers" for Sheep Free Productions Ltd. Watch this space! Exciting things coming in 2018.
