The song "Que nadie sepa mi sufrir" was written by Ángel Cabral in 1935l, with Spanish lyrics by Enrique Dizeo. The French version - with lyrics by Michel Rivgauche, was recorded in 1953, after Edith Piaf had heard the song during a Buenos Aires concert tour.
