"Lotus" is a mesmerizing five track EP by Germany based writer and producer PNFA. Unusual for this artist is the direction to combine his cinematic signature Trip-Hop and House sound with Dark Pop and EDM elements. The technically virtuous and nuanced production of the complex and multi-layered songs sets itself apart from any artists. Even though the music definitely has hit potential, PNFA never is shy to break up familiar structures with pure creativity and moments of playful, experimental uniqueness. Beautiful vocal lines and chops, dense, moody atmospheres and intense, epic beats make this record a cinematic and immensly gratifying audiophile experience.

Hi guys, I've just moved to Bath in the UK. I plan for early nights but I find plans lose petals. I try and sometimes fail to keep the old existential dread at bay. I'm afraid I watch too much youtube. I end up avoiding my housemate. 

I often don't meditate. I'm a lapsed vegan. I give what I can to children's charities, which is very little. 

I've had some of my poetry published in respectable anthologies and I'm not humble enough to keep it under my hat. I've also had flash fiction published, songs played on the radio and many years teaching music to thousands of children, mostly in East London. 

Teaching enriches me yet inflames the turbulence of my depersonalization and depression. Song writing does the same. I still love doing those things though. It's true every pleasure has an edge of pain but enrichment is always worth it I find.

Music career highlights/most fun bits include:

- BBC Radio London plays
- Playing live on Channel 4
- Performing with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and some kids I was teaching
- Playing shows for The Joe Strummer Foundation For New Music, including on the very spot where Joe used to busk in West London.
- Accidentally offending Damon Albarn
