This mix is a beautiful blend of some latin downtempo medicine house followed by balearic beats, some Berlin Bangers and a scorching hot finish.

Recorded Live from the beach at Orion on the 29th December 2022, this was the first of what would become a weekly residency and effectively the birth of 🍒🏝 IBIZA <meets> BERLIN 🤍🖤

Every customer was served a 40g dose of ceremonial cacao. The dance floor was a phone and substance-free space.

The venue was sold out.

IBZ <> BER 001 - The birth of Ibiza <meets> Berlin live from Orion Beach 01 REC - 2022 - 12 - 29

The official start of the Ibiza meets Berlin residency.  Not without its complaints from the workshop next door.  However, we later found out they were all shazaming the tunes from the next building and a fair few of them even came to dance with us.

Snuck a cheeky Madonna original version in there, and the first time I played Malo Okoma live, really changed everyone's emotions with tears on the dancefloor.  

The set overall was a little more mellow than usual because of the noise complaint, but I think it still makes for gloriously blissful set. 

The finale was very balearic with a Whitney remix from one of my earliest clubbing experiences, seeing Erick Morillo at Oh! Marbella in 2000.  I finish off with a belter of a classic for the encore.
