A story of love has arisen between two artists; Jesper Dahlbäck and Nima Khak, hailing from the deepest roots of techno music: Together we have agreed on a conceptual framework. Two have become one. We are the Naan Boys.

The story is about the relationship between the artists and the work. Love is a projection based on an idea. In this case, the idea is the pursuit of the perfected techno sound. The love story will stay with us for life because what we have created has changed us forever. The relationship transforms a person and alters the perception. The World looks a little different now.

We have entered the creative process on equal terms. It is an interaction where we have created our own world with our own language. Bold and risk-taking. At times we have lost our minds and become inconsiderate, asking ourselves what we are trying to do. There is trust. We confirm and invite each other. One action triggers another. Sometimes we operate simultaneously. Sometimes we get lost, but we find our way back as the vision guides us forward.

We have had to allow ourselves to be naive. Open to revising our understanding of individual notions of what a color, a tone, or a sound might be. We have agreed that we want to create the perfect sound. The perception of what perfect is has turned out to result in several nuances that we shared. The nuances have been accepted or rejected. The process of creation has involved dialing in, revising, erasing, and redrawing. Try again and again. Naan Boys have created a love child. It's a love song!

Lucid dreams are interesting dreams, aren't they? You know you're sleeping and dreaming but still you're dreaming … Though at this point we are sure that YOU are NOT dreaming. Yes, Davis Genuino aka DAVIS is back on Live At Robert Johnson. With his fourth release we might add - more likely a dream come true.
The São Paulo citizen who's part of the ODD queer warehouse-party collective is a central figure to the city's House and Techno scene, running the »In Their Feelings« and »ODDiscos« labels he has always released his music on other labels as well such as Innervisions, Polari Records or Permanent Vacation.
For »Lucid Dreams« Davis is lit indeed as the opening track »Lit« heavily suggests. »Lit« is sheer energy: A high-speed ode to happiness driven by a marvelous bass line and lots of dreamy vibes.
»Satellite 909« takes us on a trip to slightly darker galaxies, yet it keeps the upbeat and uplifting quality Davis started with. This satellite is transmitting with the typical and beautiful aggressiveness of a TR-909 drum machine - mission accomplished.
Title track »Lucid Dreams« is next: Both versions are characterized by a synth motif which spirals upwards and upwards, certainly driving all dancers crazy for the first half of the track - up until the point when Davis releases us poor dancers and listeners after a short break by building this amazing crescendo followed by commanding claps that lead us back to the floor again. With its trancy signature synthwave melodies »Lucid Dreams« has all you've ever dreamed of - and by that we're talking again of dreams come true. Muito obrigado Davis!

Rob Zile's first EP was released in September 2009 on Artefekz Muzik.  Following this EP many doors were opened; from being asked to remix other artists to forging great relationships with other dj’s, producers and record labels from around the world.  It also gave him the opportunity to play his first international gig at the WMC Techno Marathon in Miami in 2010, sharing the bill with artists such as Perc, Spektre, Oliver Giacomotto and many more.

Rob hosts a radio show called ‘Brain Food Radio’ on Kiss FM Dance Music Australia every Tuesday night from 10pm to 11:30pm AEST/AEDT. 
‘Brain Food Radio’ showcases thought-provoking electronic music and is curated for people who want more than just the hits and the big names.
'Brain Food Radio' has been on the Kiss airwaves since 2013. 

In 2018, Rob took the next logical step and launched his own label 'Brain Food Records.'   @brainfoodrecords

Rob's productions have been supported by The Black Dog and Mike Humphries and they have received positive feedback by Hybrid, DJ 3000, David Meiser, DJ Pierre, Lucien Foort, DJ Hyperactive, King Unique and Colin Dale among others.  Rob has supported a list of international artists such as: DJ Hell, James Zabiela, Dave Seaman, Guy J, Skream, Artwork, DJ T, Guy Mantzur, Eelke Kleijn, Joe Brunning, DJ W!ld, Drumcomplex, Sebo K, Tim Engelhardt and more.  He has completed three seasons as the house DJ, musical director and occasional actor on TV show ‘Planet UnEarth’ and his remix of Tony Kanwischer - Moonhalo appeared in an episode of '60 Minutes' on Channel Nine on prime-time Australian TV in April 2015.
