Miranda Demie is a DJ and producer from Mexico City active in the local electronic scene. She has performed with collectives such as Brutal MX, Rote, Techno Friday Nacht and Trasfondo, supporting artists including Héctor Oaks, Marco Bailey and Keith Carnal. She is on the roster at FRACTAL SONO LAB and heads the Mexican label ÓOX AUDIO, where she released her debut tracks “777” and “520” in January 2025.

This mix balances feminine and masculine energies, pairing strong kicks with acid‑tinged melodies to guide listeners between driving dancefloor moments and trance‑like passages.

BCCO x SoundCloud New Faces S04E25: Miranda Demie

N:CK aka Nicolò Temperini, is an artist who has made sound research the driving force of his musical journey. His meticulous and almost artisanal approach to music selection and production sets him apart in the contemporary music landscape, where sonic aesthetics become both language and identity.

His productions are characterized by depth and timbral complexity: every sound is carefully selected and sculpted through a creative process that combines intuition, study, and detailed manipulation. The unconventional use of textures, samples, and broken rhythms gives rise to tracks that resist easy categorization, yet maintain a strong expressive coherence. He favors the use of analog and modular synthesizers tools that allow him to shape each sound in an unrepeatable way, making every track a unique sonic work. This choice is not merely technical, but conceptual: the uniqueness and imperfection of analog sound become a vehicle for deeply personal and unreplicable expression.

During his DJ sets, N:CK brings the same attention and sensitivity he applies in the studio. Each track is selected with the aim of crafting a coherent, engaging, and never banal sonic journey one where the tension between structure and chaos, rhythm and abstraction, creates a space for deep and transformative listening.

Matteo Barcaiolo, better known as Odeon, is an enigmatic figure in the electronic music scene, hailing from Rome, Italy. With his eclectic blend of breakbeat, lo-fi house, and atmospheric electronica, he’s carving out a unique space for himself.
After spending years behind the scenes producing for others and exploring diverse musical endeavors, Odeon recently stepped into the limelight with his debut single “Esedra,” which garnered attention on Spotify’s Brain Food editorial playlist, quickly gaining traction.

Vincenzo Pizzi is a music producer, sound designer and founder of Pyteca. With a background rooted in experimental sound research and a degree with honors in Sound Design from IED Rome, he has developed a sonic language that fuses techno with the emotional depth of IDM, ambient influences and refined sound design.

Currently lecturer in Sound Design and mentor at IED, Pizzi moves between academic research, artistic experimentation and advanced production techniques. His work spans immersive audiovisual experiences, live performances, and club-oriented releases — always characterized by a meticulous approach to rhythm, sound spatialization, and timbral evolution.

As curator of Pyteca label, he promotes a vision of electronic music that is both refined and radical — where synthetic and organic elements meet to explore hybrid emotional states. His discography includes introspective compositions and rhythmic explorations often featured on platforms such as Mixmag, XLR8R, RaiRadio3, i-D Vice, and Noisey.

Vincenzo Pizzi also composes and designs sound for audiovisual and media projects, creating original music for campaigns, runway shows, fashion films and high-end digital content. His sonic identity — a refined blend of tension, minimalism, and emotional charge — is often chosen to enhance visual narratives that demand character and depth. Combining electronic textures, pulsating rhythms, and cinematic atmospheres, his sound resonates with the aesthetic codes of contemporary fashion, design, and moving image storytelling.

Rob Zile's first EP was released in September 2009 on Artefekz Muzik.  Following this EP many doors were opened; from being asked to remix other artists to forging great relationships with other dj’s, producers and record labels from around the world.  It also gave him the opportunity to play his first international gig at the WMC Techno Marathon in Miami in 2010, sharing the bill with artists such as Perc, Spektre, Oliver Giacomotto and many more.

Rob hosts a radio show called ‘Brain Food Radio’ on Kiss FM Dance Music Australia every Tuesday night from 10pm to 11:30pm AEST/AEDT. 
‘Brain Food Radio’ showcases thought-provoking electronic music and is curated for people who want more than just the hits and the big names.
'Brain Food Radio' has been on the Kiss airwaves since 2013. 

In 2018, Rob took the next logical step and launched his own label 'Brain Food Records.'   @brainfoodrecords

Rob's productions have been supported by The Black Dog and Mike Humphries and they have received positive feedback by Hybrid, DJ 3000, David Meiser, DJ Pierre, Lucien Foort, DJ Hyperactive, King Unique and Colin Dale among others.
