A story of an aging man reflecting upon his history with his eldest and most cherished boyhood companion, a Tree growing on a sidewalk stoop in front of his house... The higher power channeling of art guitar driven somber from Runson Willis accompanied by Devix Szell's ambient undertones, cellophane guitars & pulsating rhythms tell the story in this silent Melodrama based on Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree."

The Futuristic Past

So happy to finally be able to share this project with everyone. A huge thanks to Matt Ferrari and Andy Allen who helped me accomplish this goal. It seemed like it took forever to get to this point, but I'm here and happy with what we put together. 

If you'd like to know a little bit more about the song itself...truthfully...I wrote it when I was at one of the biggest lows of my life. I felt that I wouldn't ever be able to share my heart with anyone ever again after being as heartbroken as I was. I know now that I was wrong in my assumption...but at the time I felt like I was going to completely block and guard my heart from everyone.

Thank you all so much for your love and support and I hope that I continue to have opportunities to share more and more music with you. Music is my life.
