So the narrator wants to write a beautiful song for the one he loves, but he hears the adage that you have to write 200 bad songs before you can write one good song. So, he writes 200 songs and throws them away so he can have a perfect song to express his love...this is not that perfect song, it's a tribute to that perfect song lol
