The Metalheadz back catalogue features almost every major figure in the history of drum and bass, and is one of the most innovative labels out there, consistently crossing boundaries with its releases since 1994. The labels output continues to showcase a maturing genre of music that displays influences from reggae, hip-hop, house and techno with highly-sophisticated and intricately-produced tracks, contrary to the image of the music that is typically presented by the mass media.

Releasing music from some of the biggest names out there whilst at the same time pushing and letting new talent break through are the reasons why Metalheadz continues to stay at the forefront of electronic music.

The Metalheadz label was also the driving force behind the seminal Sunday Session Club Nights, which achieved legendary status at London's Blue Note club. Today, Metalheadz club nights are often sell outs with the label also regularly hosting stages at some of the biggest festivals across the world.

gyrofield is synonymous with some of the most imaginative drum and bass of the new decade, a central pivot in their broad discography ranging from Noise to Acid Jazz to Techno. 

She defines herself as a musician, writer, queer, neurodivergent, and is currently based in Utrecht.

Pendulum are undoubtedly one of the biggest electronic bands of all time. With 3 platinum albums to their name including renowned debut ‘Hold Your Colour’ and a UK #1 and #2 for ‘Immersion’ and ‘In Silico’, the drum and bass/ rock band from Perth, Australia have sold over a million albums in the UK alone. Selling out global arena tours and playing to thousands across main stage performances from Glastonbury, Download to Reading and Leeds and a headline slot at Ultra Miami, the band returned with their new EP ‘Elemental’ in 2021 and have announced the return of the live band and more new music for 2022/23.

With a high level of technical mixing proficiency across all sub-genres and a fast-paced, high energy mixing style sure to get dancefloors moving, Axis has supported names such as Matrix & Futurebound, Current Value, Pola & Bryson, 1991, Flowidus and more.

With over 15 years’ mixing experience between them and DJ accolades including Saif as F**k competition winner – UK, Rawdio DJ competition winner – UK, Infinite Audio DJ competition winner – UK, Rumble in the Jungle Auckland finalist – NZ, and having held residencies at Rinse – UK and Impossible Objects – NZ you can see why as a duo and individually they have been booked for gigs and festivals across New Zealand, Australia and Europe, supporting the likes of Andy C, S.P.Y, Document One, Culture Shock, Benny L, HABIT, Bou, Grafix, State of Mind, The Upbeats and more.

MANIACTS bring an upfront, frenetic, four-deck style to create something fresh that wasn’t possible as solo acts. You can expect to hear a showcasing of music from heavyweight labels like Symmetry, Critical, Metalheadz and Sofa Sound, as well as their own unheard productions.

Taking the next step in their musical evolution they have been working on music production. With releases out on Society Records and Four Corners Music, receiving support from Kiljoy, Paige Julia, XHL and Black Sun Empire, and more projects with MC Tree & skOpus there are big plans underway.
