His first exposure to underground music came through pirate radio, where he discovered the raw energy of unfiltered club sounds. Listening to these illicit broadcasts fueled his desire to become a DJ, and before long, he was making his own mixes and experimenting with turntables.

In his teenage years, William became involved in pirate radio himself, broadcasting underground dance music to local audiences. Beyond DJing, William has played a crucial role in the music industry through his work at 23rd Precinct Music, one of Scotland’s most respected independent music publishers and record stores. His experience at 23rd Precinct allowed him to gain deep industry insight, working alongside established artists, discovering emerging talent, and helping shape the trajectory of electronic music in the UK.

His work in A&R, label management, and music publishing at 23rd Precinct strengthened his influence in the scene, giving him a unique perspective on both the creative and business sides of the industry. He has played at various high profile gigs including: the Radio 1 Essential Mix Tour (Arches, Glasgow), Parklife Festival (Strathclyde Park Motherwell), Kiddstock Festival (Durham), Tiesto In Concert (Royal Highland Showground Edinburgh), Tiesto in Concert (SECC), Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Digital Society, Promise, EH1, Fantasylands, Goodgreef and Fire It Up to name but a few. William was also involved in promoting his own night Refresh over the years giving UK debuts to Sander Van Doorn and many other names.
